Russian invasion of Ukraine

The Russians will not let this go on for years, they will flatten Kyiv. However, what they really expect to get out of that in the aftermath, is something I have no idea about. And I honestly don't think they do either. It's almost as if their eye has been taken off their main objective and is now a free for all destruction.

Think they are looking to just do a land grab now and force Ukranians who don#t want to be in the Russian areas west.

The Ukraine didn’t exist in WW2, it was in the Soviet Union. They didn’t “side with Germany”.

When Operation Barbarossa launched, the territory and people in what’s modern day Ukraine were overran and captured within days, as the whole USSR response was in disarray.
Not as a sovereign country they didn’t but a lot of units did side with Germany and they did commit atrocities even killing ethnic Hungarians On the border. A lot of Ukrainian people that came over to n 1945 didn’t ever go back to there home country because of what happened during the war

Looks like one of those thermobaric bombs.

I do wonder where the line is going to be drawn before somebody says enough is enough.

I’m far from an expert but from videos I’ve seen of thermobaric bombs the flames don’t last as they burn off the oxygen quickly. Possibly a large ammo dump?
