This would explain so much. If he had been compromised years ago, revealing this now would ruin him.
Where as i think photo's of him pissing on prostitutes would somehow make him more popular with his fan base, being a russian spy not so much.
Also the authorities no matter how influenced right now would shut him down immediately.
It makes so much sense (with his bizarre pro Russian stance) to almost no chance it isn't true.

This then begs the question of how safe is Zelenskiy visiting the states tomorrow...
 
On the mineral deal,
Basically it is an agreement setting the ground rules to make a deal.
Ukraine is commiting to share 50% of future revenues from NEWLY exploited mineral resources in exchange for 50% of investment in developing those mineral resources.
That said, it does look as though it locks out others from making similar deals.

As baffling as this deal appears, I think Zelensky’s judgement to date has been such that he deserves the benefit of the doubt on this, and to assume there must be more to this than meets the eye.
 
Pokrovsk Frontline Update:

Udačne: Stalemate. The enemy clings to their positions, too battered to push forward. Their “advance” is now just a waiting game—for their turn to die.

Kotlyne: Ours. Airborne units stormed back in and wiped them out. The village is under full Ukrainian control. The enemy still festers in the industrial zone to the east, but not for long. We will finish the job.

Pishchane: The Russian 74th Brigade thought they could hold the line. They got their teeth kicked in instead. Fighting is ongoing, but their grip is slipping.

Dachenske & Lysivka: No major changes—except for the fact that we’re still finding their rotting carcasses and sending fresh ones down with drone drops.

The tide is shifting. The only constant is more dead invaders.

I think that's the concept, but at a much higher level; having the US invested in a peaceful Ukraine gives US an incentive to help protect it against Russia. But nothing specific.

Absolutely, and i don't understand what's going on well myself, but I think it's basically Ukraine gives away very little, gains a path for investment, and gets Trump to believe he's won bigly, and he thinks he needs to keep Russia out, so hopefully at least allows current arms to continue while the Europeans sort their lives out.

Something like that anyway.

and in exchange, the US are happy that Russia keeps much of what it's taken, make deals with them, and works to reintegrate them into international politics?

My issue is that I think Zelensky will find out too late that Trump is as trustworthy as Putin
