Do you think there might be a reason why they haven't dropped the bridge yet? I'm sure they have the capabilities to do it. Do you think America or even NATO have said to leave it in tact for some reason? Seems bizarre Ukraine haven't taken it out with all the advantages they would gain from destroying it.

1) There must be a reason.
2)They more than have the capabillity.
3) It is bizarre and should of been dropped years ago.
4) I have no idea why it has'nt been.
5) War,is war,espesially where Russians are concerned.
When you are defending an invasion of your country,why would you listen to another country saying what is good and what is bad?
Let rip and survive...do what you have to do....not what you are told.

It may be restricted (or rather subject to restriction) by the UK and/or France in terms of deployment of their weapons.

Like you say, there will be a reason, if the capability is there. Of course there will.

Maybe they’ve had some back channel info that Putin would go postal if it was levelled?

I’ve always thought that as it’s such a symbol, the russians have deployed a massive amount of air defence and other capable military to protect it, and whilst they are there, they’re not fighting elsewhere

True,but i'm not sure it's an amount that would make a big difference elsewhere.
Think they are more concerned about maritime drones.
There is currently 17 large barges blocking the way to the bridge.

I don't know what the aim or point is but...Russians in Mariupol are cutting the heads off animals,skining them and just leaving them where they are???

"You're an alarmist" - there's no way that America will withdraw from NATO because... I can't remember the exact argument but it had something to do with America's investment in military bases in Europe and the economic impact that withdrawal from NATO might incur.

Don’t quite get the “I told you fucking so” post about something that hasn’t happened but according to you “is likely” which is all you originally said.

Not being argumentative here but your post is pretty meaningless at the moment.
 
Seeing Russia has lost over 10000 tanks plus obviously other armaments begs the question just how much do they have left? If they didn’t have nukes would they be ripe for invading themselves?

Their tanks are old Soviet stock as the newer T72s have taken a some big hits. Their strategic bombers are old tech as well, you have to wonder what their nukes are like and if a lot of them actually have the capability to cause a nuclear detonation.
