21 are totally Kapput. About 20 are repairable if they have the parts - I doubt they have - even if they cannibalise planes with minor damage. Most planes were hit in the same place.

He definitely isn't, firstly because they won't propose the bill without Trump's blessing, and secondly because even if they did, Trump would veto it.

Trump is Putin's ally. He wants Putin to win. We need to stop expecting him to do the right thing.

Yeah the existing Sanctions are actually law in the US and would need to be repealed before the US coukd give anything to Russia - eiither directly or Indirectly.

I agree. Yet we keep seeing reports saying Russia is gearing up to fight NATO in three years.
Just how do these people saying this propose Putin can do this?
They are so depleted in armoury, that he has people cycling into battles!

Saying that, maybe he does have some arms like tactical nukes that he hasn't been allowed to use due to pressure from China. And maybe they have had to keep some arms safe to defend the country from other attacks.

This invasion would be over if he didn't have N Korea/Iran/China supplying him. If Trump truly wanted this war over, he should be putting pressure on those, and not slating Zelenskyy every other minute.

Drones swarm flying through a forest with automatic obstacle avoidance. This was 3 years ago with 10 of them.

Wow, that is scary stuff. 3 years ago aswell. What on earth is the technology like now with the advances in AI ? We don't seem to be that far off terminator style warfare?

China no doubt will be developing this area of drone warfare to invade Taiwan ?

You can see drones and AI being a massive C change in warfare, just like the longbow did hundreds of years ago, then gunpowder and then flight. And who is best placed in the world to mass produce drones China? The west can produce them, but I'm guessing not in the mass numbers that China can. Something tells me we need to get moving.

Sorry, but it's hopeless naievety to think a this Republican congress is going to force Trump to impose sanctions against his will.

(1) They're spineless, (2) They're dependent on Trump's approval not to face primaries (3) He won't implement them anyway - he's ignoring the courts on other things.

Europe and Ukraine are on our own on this, and the sooner we accept it, the better. Congress (and wider US opinion) is a brake on Trump, but it's never, ever going to change him from a Putin supporter to a Zelensky supporter.

- Radar guided Laser weapons takes them our at ranges up to 2 miles.
- Microwave weapons will sweep the sky of drones at similar ranges. Electric motors are like transformers and current surges generated within them by modest microwave energy bursts will destroy the motor and power supply circuitry. Let alone the control circuitry.

The west still produces high quantities of specialist EMP immune chips and circuitry for the military.

Then you have the updates to Trophy anti missile systems to combat drones and machine gun amo that explodes in the air like flack

No it just adds to the weapon upgrade / couner measure upgrade development cycle. Whomever excels at that will win future wars.
- Russia is shit at it.
- Ukraine excells.
- China is good at copying.

The west has to fully adopt the Ukrainian approach and it will win. As the UK did in WW2.

We've gone full circle pretty quickly. The original guided smart bombs that the Nazis used in World War 2 were wire guided. Now because of the electronic jamming wire guided is back in fashion because it can't be jammed.

Microwave weapons will make those wire guided drones redundant as well as far as I can tell.
