Nah. He's a criminal boss with a talent for low cunning, and Putin is his ally.

Both run a government where central power is absolute, political opponents are assaulted, corruption is endemic and the media is strongarmed. Putin's is just a bit further down the road.

They share a common purpose, and are assets to one another.
 
TACO man refused point blank to apply additional sanctions to Russia at the G7.

He also lied about Ukraine reciewing $350bn (£138bn both military and relief - $90 bn military aid that has been dispersed - most of which was spent in the US)

Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s not far from the truth. Trump was only interested in meeting Zelenskyy on his own terms in the Oval Office with Vance as backup. At the G7 with 6 other leaders supportive of Ukraine he wouldn’t be interested.
