Not spineless, just set up wrong. Defenders out of their best positions and Savic having an ongoing "mare" meant we were on the back foot and never really got into the game. Scored two goals and I don't know how. Really disappointing!

I hate all this conspiracy against us lark, but fuck me it's just not looking good! Refs have got it in for us no doubt while the rags have always got away with murder and will do for the unforseeable future.
As for Mancini speaking out against the refs that may do more harm than good especially with last years media campaign that he was always one game away from the sack!
The tabloid media hate us, sky hate us and referees are probably shitting bricks everytime they step out alongside our team because of this hate campaign so have to act on any slight decision, maybe that will change if we are champions in May but then maybe not.
I know that every game from now until May will have negative decisions go against us but there is fuck all we can do,like Platt said he can say his opinions but the press chop & change it anyway they like so why bother, shit refs will carry on being shit to us until we have battled our way to the title through this quagmire of negatitvity against us, and I for one will be a lot prouder of that, than any rag who celebrated their treble handed to them on a plate on every front in1999!

We should've had a pen and they shouldn't.
Problem is when you have a game plan you have to stick it.
We weren't shit, we just couldn't afford to concede the first goal, so we had to be cautious.
To be fair it nearly worked, but Dowds decision shafts us, cos with 45 mins to play we do need to up it and Liverpool are clueless against at breaking teams down.
The goal comes, but then we concede again.
In fairness they were bound to score one 'team' goal in four games against us!

Shit refs have been a constancy. we're no longer playing well enough to win the games anyway. But the point is we shouldn't have to look to win in spite of the ref.
Watching football us a serious catch 22 at the minute for me. I fucking love city but supporting the football industry feels very contrary to all general principles, lately. What a mess.

Tony pulis i think last season had a bad run with refs and highlighted every single wrong decision that had been made against them and it worked (even though they are a bunch of cheating fuckers.)

Someone posted a link on here on Sunday to a spurs site which makes a credible case for them losing 10 points this yr to refereeing decisions.
Wolves have been on the end of some shockers recently too.
In short, all refs are equally crap to everyone. Not much consolation, but probably true.
