Looks like the whole away end will be standing at Spuds.
What’s the source on that one?

Sounds absolutely fantastic for FOCs like me but all our younger fan base will not remember the Kippax and may be happier behind the goal.*kicks the cat*
(don’t worry, not really got a cat!)
That’s always been my [completely unrealistic] dream for the Etihad though. That one day the club are going to come out and say “we have purposely not given you an end for vocal fans because we are going to knock down the current East Stand and build a one-tier’d megastructure like the Dortmund Yellow Wall but along the side of the pitch at the Etihad. All standing, rail seating, one tier, that will hold 30,000”
But as a compromise I’ll accept ESL1 just being allowed to stand, even if it’s just half of it.
Don’t ruin my dreams mate haha
Spurs spokesman on the radio said there were 10,000 standing ‘places’ for home supporters and 3,000 for away fans and, I think, 3,000 is the away allocation. What’s the source on that one?
That's going to be problematic for people who can't stand for that long, should have probably gone with 2000 standing 1000 seated. I get that the rail seats have a seat so you can sit down but that's not going to do much good for someone stood in front of youSpurs spokesman on the radio said there were 10,000 standing ‘places’ for home supporters and 3,000 for away fans and, I think, 3,000 is the away allocation.

I don’t think they all have to be stood. Will just need to make sure standing is at the back. That's going to be problematic for people who can't stand for that long, should have probably gone with 2000 standing 1000 seated. Well saidIt used to drive me f*cking made watching and listening on TV to the clueless (women) ministers, politicians, and the Police arguing safe standing wasn’t safe and it shouldn’t be introduced. Because of them it took decades and numerous safety reports reporting on the same issues before those in power finally allowed safe standing to be brought back to a limit number of grounds. They’ve treated every football fan who wants to stand like a football hooligan, incapable of behaving on the terraces. C*nts, the lot of them!
Agree with most of it except in my experience the clueless (male) ministers, policticians, and the police were a much bigger problemIt used to drive me f*cking made watching and listening on TV to the clueless (women) ministers, politicians, and the Police arguing safe standing wasn’t safe and it shouldn’t be introduced. I get what youre saying but dont think it would be any different to how things are now with the whole away end standing. Can imagine having 1k seated would cause kick offs all over as most would still stand. That's going to be problematic for people who can't stand for that long, should have probably gone with 2000 standing 1000 seated.
