Did u both miss the haha at the end of the comment. If he got his self fit then maybe he could stay in the prem. But he stood out as the worse player on the pitch against Watford and Blackburn.

You smell exactly what you are.A bitter Rag !! Anyone who has a modicum of footballing knowledge understands how Dunny bled for City. You are talking out of your arse mate.
Sniff,sniff !!!

Re: Sagna

I liked Dunnie for a while and we didn't have many options financially anyway. I think the club were loyal to him as well sticking by him when he was having the drink issues don't forget. We could quite rightly have cut him free from his contract when he was turning up for training reeking of drink.

I tired a little of him towards the end though. Too many errors for a guy earning more in one week than I earned in a year. Let's be honest about this loyalty thing - would he have stayed if we'd offered him £1K a week ? I think not though many loyal fans would happily work at City for that kind of money.

I remember one game against Bolton a few years back, 2006 or 2007. We battered them and hit the woodwork half a dozen times for 90 minutes and they broke out for their first attack in the 92nd minute. A lone winger raced down the left and fired a high cross into the box but with nobody on the end of it and Dunnie leapt up and batted the ball down with his hands, like a slam dunk. The ground went quiet, you could have heard a pin drop. Penalty obviously and we lost 0-1.

The number of times he scored own goals or gave stupid penalties away beggars belief.

I don't want to forget the guy and he made his contribution to our club and he definitely had a spell when he was a factor in us having a tight defence around 2006/2007 and at a time when we couldn't buy a goal but I can't be doing with this blind hero worship of the guy. I certainly don't think those who weren't his biggest fans being labelled 'rags' endears me to him or his followers any more either.

I liked Dunne and also rated him,, but there was an awful lot that didn't. Doesn't make them rags.

he clearly needs a bit of time to think of a way out of this one - taking him longer than he has actually been supporting City

Re: Sagna

In respect of OP whispers it but I would have him at our club.

(Puts on tin hat and waits for abuse).
