Boateng is a decent CB. Mancini just messed it up playing him regularly as a side back.

as for Sagna, i would like to see us signing younger player to be Zabaleta understudy.

I agree.

I really like Julio Buffarini at San Lorenzo, he was a right winger I think last season but got converted to right back but whenever I see him I am impressed.

I remember talk last summer of Sam Byram form Leeds as a young homegrown understudy. What happened to him ? I know he's playing still at Leeds don't know if he's any good or not or if he hasn't progressed.

Didn't Sagna and Zabba get sent off for fighting a few years ago - Zabba's card was later rescinded and Sagna complained that Zabba had said he'd got girls hair!

Boateng only has himself to blame for not succeeding with our club. Not that he will care now he's at Bayern.

According to the Daily Star, Bacary Sagna is set to sign for Manchester City this summer - after rejecting a move to Inter Milan.

The Frenchman is out of contract in North London and has reportedly become frustrated at only being offered a two-year deal by the Gunners.

Inter are thought to have offered Sagna £90,000-a-week to move to the San Siro but he wants to play in next season's Champions League.
