He is only free from the 1st of July. He is able to discuss be contracts from 1st January. He is technically still under contract with the Arse. If he signed before the 1st July Arse could request a transfer fee. Dem is the facts.

I don't know why people are so concerned when he signs, the lad himself said he wanted his future sorted before WC. If he signs a pre contract or has an agreement with arsenal that he can leave early who cares whether he signs this week or in a months time. If he is still being paid by Arsenal up to 30th June, rather them pay his quarter of a million wages, than us, as it says in the advert every little helps. To me this deal has been done, seems Agent says he will sign for us.

He's out of contract on the 30th June. He can't sign a contract elsewhere until 1st July. If he did, Arsenal would be due a fee. He can however, sign a precontract that he will join on 1st July, and it can be announced he will join on the 1st july.

He can't join City before 1st July unless we technically buy him.

Are you simple? He Can sign a pre contract with another club. Do some research you might find out your wrong
