Jesus simply not good enough as an attacking force.

Sterling still misses the simple chances that in the big matches is not good enough.

Bernardo MIA for 18 months and even at his very best , does not score enough for a player of his ability.

Gundo, Rodri don't contribute enough in terms of goals and even KDB for his incredible ability does not score enough.

We are very, very short in attacking ability.

And yet we have qualified for the last 16 of the champions league, top of the group, and are still in contention for all the domestic competitions. Not bad for such a shit team eh? ;-)

I have never heard Pep in all his time with us admit to a confidence issue inside the dressing room.

Maybe he has had enough protecting some of these players and keeping it in-house?

Even when something is obvious, Pep isn't one to throw a bone like that to the press.

I would like to sign the lad Romeu. He is very underrated both in terms of his intensity and ability on the ball.

He walked through Rodri yesterday, although that's not difficult.

Rodri had the fucking cheek at one stage to call out Gundo, who was at least trying to get back in.

Rodri is always calling people out on the pitch. I wouldn’t mind but he needs to get his own house in order first.

When Pellers was here we didnt even know if we could/would win the carabao. Right now under Pep we're capable of winning everything and it's expected that we will. Nothing wrong with that! Its worth remembering what we could go back to if those that are fed up with Pep get what they want.

For me its just a lack of confidence/killer instinct. The players are scared. We all know it, if we score those chances the story is totally different and we're top of the table (We're not missing those chances because we're suddenly shit)

Hopefully never. He is fucking beyond average.

As someone said in here the other day, not £50m better than Javi Garcia, who shared similar attributes.

He could do with losing a few pounds to see if that at least makes him more mobile.

The big difference today is we turned their defense to face their own goal a few times. I`m not going to sit like a happy fucking clapper when its good its great, if its dire and we have been it needs saying.

but it turns into a full blooded fuckin moanfest, nothing is just said.

A top striker who would create fear in defences would give a serious focal point in our attacking.

Lets be honest Jesus coming deep, playing with his back to the goal a lot and being offside quite often while not a clinical top class finisher when he has some chances he aint someone who are making defenders having nightmares.

If we had someone just like Vardy couple year back, or Kane who are both dominant strikers can win headers in the box, can score from outside the box, can be fox in the box etc.
(Let alone Haaland....)

We have Kun who is on the decline for obvious reasons, he aint have much left at top class football, and his injuries seemingly stop him to get 100% fit for months now.

Even if Kun can deliver 90 minutes for us soon we can safely say that he will not be a 100% top of ability neither fitness wise. I think he is going down the same route as Kompany, still world class but his body is just struggling to stay fit or even get 100% fit.

We tried Sterling, Mahrez, Torres in central forward role recent months, none if them are really good there. Neither is Jesus imo, a striker in our system could flourish but Jesus is not the guy who will deliver 20+ goals in PL for us. Kun also is not that guy anymore unfortunately given his fitness issues.

Having a top class finisher who instill fear in defences could give more confidence to wide players, midfielders even full backs to create more chances for him, while could take extra focus from opponents freeing up focus for others.

As for new strikers, to compliment what we have in the squad, would you prefer a player in the mould of Aguero or Drogba?
