Back four were the stars of the show. We have a base to build on.

I don’t rate Rodri - he’s slow on the ball and too negative. I would play Fernandinho in the more difficult games if he’s fit. Gundog is playing well.

Forward line was goodnight in terms of creativity but we can’t finish. We need a striker (or even better a fit Aguero) to put those chances away.

Missed a sitter and then passed up a golden chance to shoot to bury the Saints for some reason. Apart from that he did run around a lot, I'll agree.

Yes, Stan, his confidence is clearly shot to pieces, but kudos to the lad for giving his all even when things are not going perfectly for him.

We were in control against WBA and they nicked a fluke deflection. They were attacking us a lot so the game was always nervy.

Agree, my whole point was that cookster said we didn’t have control at any point. I said second half we were in control.

Cant believe no one has mentioned that ball kdb played from the outside of his foot,very similar to the one playing for Belgium..
