Salford City programme!

I'm a Salford lad and it amazes me how the media have tried to turn this into utds little brother crap..

Don't believe the bullshit there's 1000s of blues in Salford..
 
It was a cracking game. I was standing just behind the goal, but could still hear a crunching tackle made right at the other end of the pitch.

I wonder if Salford is the largest conurbation in England to never have had a team in the football league. Off the top of my head I'm trying to think of others: Maidstone, Warrington, Chelmsford and formerly Milton Keynes must all be there or thereabouts, although in all honesty I could be miles out with one or two of those.

It is. It also used to be said that it was the only city in England without a professional club.
