You are so right. There have been fundamental problems with English football for decades. You hear former great players like Stuart Pearce on the radio saying the most stupid things about matches he is watching. It is as if English players have been brainwashed into thinking there is only one way to play the game. I think Keegan and Royle showed signs of being decent managers/coaches but they were also very limited.BFS is not the only mediocre English coach.
Really can anyone name a top English coach from the last 20/25 years? (note not British)
