Emery has 3 Europa League titles in 3 years doing it at a club with a much smaller budget than Arsenal, why on Earth should he adopt Allardyce tactics at Arsenal?
Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Lichtsteiner, all good footballers and capable of playing out from the back. Leno built his reputation doing it. BFS's problem (and yours seemingly) is he only ever sees the times playing out from the back goes wrong and never sees the times hoofing it aimlessly forward sees the ball come straight back into your defensive third and puts you back on the back foot again. Fine for Bolton or Sunderland, not so fine for Arsenal or City. Madrid play out from the back, 4 Champions League wins in 5 years. Barca do it and they've won nearly everything else.

You can keep repeating it all you like, the only way the Arsenal players are going to learn to judge those situations is through experience of playing the style. As I pointed out earlier in the thread, Allardyce had the same scoreline last season in a home match against City, after having far more time with his team, with 18% possession, clearing the ball as far as they could every chance they got. Everton didn't create a single chance in that game, Arsenal created a few yesterday. His style suits clubs like Bolton. It doesn't work at clubs with the resources of Everton, never mind Arsenal. There are several shades in between passing it out from the back or hoofing it up the pitch, it doesn't have to be one or the other.
I can just keep repeating it if it helps.
Liverpool are the current holders of the 'we beat Man City' cup mate, stop boasting about it. Meanwhile Emery has won 3 European trophies with a smaller club than Arsenal playing out from the back in every game. You play with the players you got and weigh up the opposition.
Yes. Plenty of times for us Hammers - he went long to Carrol and for Nolan to pick up the pieces. Majority of time it worked.
Other times like when we beat Man City, he had 2 up front in Sakho and Valencia with Downing just behind, other times he played no striker! Like away to Spurs when we won 3-0.
He mixed it up all the time.
But the average football fan only sees the media narrative that he’s a long ball merchant which is just wrong.
Thats why the England Manager spent a lot of time with Pep.Actually thought England did a great job of playing it out from the back at the World Cup and we're far from the best at international level.
Whatever happened to Bolton? You can keep repeating it all you like, the only way the Arsenal players are going to learn to judge those situations is through experience of playing the style. Don’t think anyone was Sam.Don't get me started on Southgate.
