Same as under Mancini

We spent 100 million to downgrade the team.

Even though we bought 5 good to very good players, but we didn't replace the exceptional one " Tevez"

It's not the same as Mancini, under him we won worthwhile trophies, including the premier league title.

Yes arguably the "style" of football has been better under Pellers but if that does not translate into points and cups what is the point?

Mancini for all his faults was a winner, Pellers may be a nicer guy but he's moving the club backwards.

I shouldn't be saying this, but Pellegrini does offer pretty football, but would Mancini have lost so many points from winning positions?
Would he had gotten into those winning positions? Last season says probably not.

Also, if he'd stayed then we wouldn't have Hart, Kompany or Toure this season.
Well two of those have massively underperformed this season.

It's not the same as under Mancini. We have for the most part played some great football this season.

It's ended on a flat note though, and for me that's not because of the manager's strategy or ideas, but because the players are not giving 100%.

Yes, Tevez, ability and mentality, he was the real winner who, imo, almost single-handedly brought us the title in that season.

Certain individuals wanted Bobby out and gave the green light to certain players that all would change and Bobby would be gone. Pellers is not to blame for that, it started with Tevez, great on the pitch plus the cowardly way the club abandoned Mario. On reflection we spent £100 million, but in the previous 2 windows, aside from Nasty we bought dross. The squad is marginaly better than when we won the league. In reality our mail defend and striker are now injury prone. Our left backs are chalk and cheese, we have only 1 right back to usually call on. Hart blows hot and cold and.shows zero improvement. This is where we are lucky, we can go out and buy replacement's, but it's going to involve around £120 million net spend, but it will be worth it.

Fair enough. Not sure I completely agree.

However, the injury-prone players have certainly held the team back. As I said a while ago, if the likes of Aguero and Nasty can't play the majority of games on a regular basis, then they are only hampering the club and not helping it. Feels like here are some bug decisions ahead this summer. I hope so anyway.

The squad is not mentally at the races. That is the core problem. Fix that and stupid defeats will cease and major trophies will come. Fail to fix it and it will be the same old same old season after season. We need a psychologist to get the squad members' heads together, like Liverpool has done.
