Oof, that's a hatchet job and a half when all the press are reporting it. Clearly a club briefing. Looks like Samir is on his way (again).
I fail to see what good could come for City to make them brief this. It's only knocking his price down from whatever side you look at it. We look even more desperate to sell and why would anyone buy arrogant **** his teammates hate. Hence, the chance we could get a decent fee plummeting in a second.

I agree that it's odd, but it seems highly improbable that such a damning leak would come from his camp.
Not sure why City are doing this, as it seems highly counter intuitive, but maybe there's a method behind the madness.
