The problem is with nasri is, he often bottles or ducks out of challenges, the majority of city fans take great offensive to this. I also think the van Persie free kick lives fresh in the memory of most city fans and unless he scores a vital goal he will almost be remembered for the one who flicked a toe out at van persies free kick

His short passing is great (I mean ending every season on around 91 % accuracy rate is unbelievable) but Silva is way better when it comes to killer passes. In that domain Silva imo is the best in the league.

Nasri is probably a better finisher than Silva ; 6 goals on his fisrt season isn't a bad record for a midfielder and Hart shoud know that about him since he teared us apart in his last Arsenal season (we played 10 men that day !!) plus his goal against England at the Euro. But we haven't seen any of that lately. Yesterday Nasri was the player getting the most of the ball but He still didn't try one single shot. Always looking for a better suited teammate to pass it to, he ended up creating 6 chances for his teammates during the first hour of play.

We really need both of them playing and having a long run together to get great results.

But I also want Jimmy (and of course Yaya) to play as often as possible, it's not easy to always have all of them.

He played well against Newcastle away. Perhaps the reason he played so well then and yesterday is because Newcastle's defence is shocking. Nasri gets a lot of stick because he's a 24 mill player but rarely playes like it. How many great performances has he had for us the last 2 years? A hanful? Certainly less than 10. That's the problem. He needs to play well for stretches of games and against the top clubs. One good game in more than a month is hardly reason to spark his praises.

Far more likely to score ..yes..his passing as good as silva if not better def not I don't even have to explain why because its so obvious he's not just watching silva distribute the ball the last 3 seasons..but Nasri a better dribbler than silva??? He'd be miles more effective if we owned a winger. Honestly all of this talk of signing a forward makes no sense to me when our best solution would be actually dropping a forward for real width.
