Samir Nasri

Useless out wide right or left.

Effective at his best inside in the middle, just like his assist for Silva.

Happy to be a passenger, but yesterday he decided to get involved.

One game doesn't justify how shit he has been, needs to do it more.

He's one of the most frustrating city players i've ever seen.
No wonder Mancini said in The Guardian interview that he wanted to punch him. Nasri hasn't earned his wages this season. He has cruised through games and got away with murder. And let's make it clear he jolly well knows that he has been in cruise control.

And now in a relatively unimportant game he decides to showcase his skills? It does indeed make supporters very frustrated and I can well understand why Mancini wants to punch his lights out!

Like Mancini, I'd like to punch him too.
- Great skill.
- Zero application this season till it's too late.

Or do the Mancini out brigade think constant cuddling would bring out the best in Nasri?

" I agree with Bobby and i want to punch him as well"

Fuck me, some of his besotted followers would jump in a fire i think.......

Is he right to want a more consistent performance form the player? Of course he is and its his job to get it.

Is his interview and the language used a correct way of getting it to happen?

Is it fuck!

I think it has worked with pretty much every player named and shamed by Mancini. But just for you Can I say "I'd like to give Nasri a cuddle".

BTW I said "Like Mancini, I'd like to punch him too". Neither of us would given the chance - and Mancini has the chance (though that is suposition on my part - I don't know what Mancini does with the players in private). It is a figure of speech so show what you think of someone's attitude and performance.

Someone posted an article on here a couple of weeks ago, written by an Italian journalist, which explained Mancini's attitude towards work ethic and the footballers' mentality. In a nutshell; he'll round on the players with ability and who don't show application far more than he'll lambast any player who he feels is of lesser ability. It also explained a little of Mancini's own footballing upbringing.
Can anyone drag this piece back up?

How the fook was he man of the match? City should sort that idiot out it was Tevez Motm. Think Mancini has taken these comments to far this time but Nasri just has on fight inside him

he was smiling when he said it

Some player in the City team always becomes whipping boy for no real reason. Personally, I think he did well on Saturday but has been hit and miss throughout. He doesn't necessarily start in my first XI but can still do a job when needs be.

You must of not watched the game. No doubt Nasri was motm

No doubt he's frustrating, and his attitude leaves a lot to be desired at times. But the vast majority of our best (footballing) performances over the past two seasons have been with him in the team.

And isn't that the sad thing?

A consistant Nasri is a world beater, not the powder puff version we've had all to often!!!!

He's doing his first interview on french TV since the Euro. Some interesting stuff.

- His bad season mainly caused by the french media witch hunt after the Euro.
- Think Wenger would have helped him if he was his coach (implying Mancini didn't).
- Would'nt mind a punch fron Mancini, but shouldn't talk about it to the press.
- No contact with PSG nor Monaco

Wenger likes to cuddle his players, Nasri said in one interview that he needs to feel love and wants the manager to be like a father for him, Mancini doesen´t come across like that type so I can see why Nasri believes Wenger would of helped him in his difficult time of need.

Still he has been a disappointment and I believe he´ll continue to be one, unfortunately. He strikes me as a player who turns it up when he´s in the mood, for 24mill he should be alot more consistent. I can´t honestly remember 5 great games Nasri has had for us, Spurs away, Chelsea at home, Rags at home that´s about it. The rest have been average or below standard, for a player of his quality it´s a horrible return.

Just listening to Talksport they were onto it straight away. I haven't seen it but if what they are saying is true, I wish our players would keep their own council. I understand that he may prefer Wengers management style but does he really need to wax lyrical to the press. I don't understand why they do it, do players think it won't be reported over here.

They do it when they do want it reporting over here, it's all a game at the end of the day.

He wants out from us and this is the start.

Wenger's 'cuddly' approach to man-management can't be that effective as they have not won a trophy for 8 years. It may explain why most of his players and ex-players do not have a winning mentality.

Nasri has described Wenger as the best coach he has played for......

That does nobody any favours.

Is keeping your mouth shut really that difficult?
