Saturday lunch suggestions.

It's our first trip up in a while, since the pandemic, etc. Same for most, of course. Travelling up from the Midlands, so looking for somewhere to grab some good food pre-match in the south Manchester area, Didsbury, etc.

Dirty burger, great deli sandwich sort of thing. Booze not essential but fine if it is a pub.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Good little bistro in Didsbury Saints and Scholars and the owner Colin is a Blue.

Loaded fries with chilli and fried onion-heavenly.
Also a really good covered outside area.

I used to go in there quite a bit years ago. Not been in for years! Lovely place from what I remember.

I can't believe that all you bloody pre-match fine diner's don't just get season tickets for the Tunnel Club.

Make some butties before you leave home, and pile them up with chips from the chippy when you get to the ground (if you haven't already eaten them on the way).

However, there won’t be any of that poutine stuff! I had to look up what it was, I thought it was another way of saying poithin or potheen, Irish Whiskey:-)
Chips only come with salt and vinegar for me. :-)
Sounds like I’ll have to get extra food in if there’ll be others coming!
