Saurez [FA release investigation findings]

i hate daglish more than ferguson.

there i said it,hes a fucking prick who thinks his club is amazing and so is he when they are not!!
at least fergie puts his trophies were his mouth is

An interesting tangential thought in the Suarez timeline is the way that Fergie actually behaved as it indicated to me at least that he instinctively understood the long reach of the issue.

He refused to get involved in the media debate on it and pointedly accused KD and LFC of breaching the understanding that nobody would.

Once more Fergie has proven to have had good instincts and more importantly it shows that he knows and understands his players better than any other manager knows theirs.

Also If Suarez had been signed by Fergie he would now have been sold without any hesitation.

In simple terms Kenny has showed himself as a man a decade late to the party and Liverpool, in simplistic terms are definitely yesterdays club.

Why on Earth would they risk the wrath of the Liverpool fans who buy the tickets and buy the shirts to save their reputation amongst other club's fans (of which I don't agree with all this 'they're ruined' stuff anyway. It'll all blow over soon enough).

'Oh John from Norwich thought the way the manager stuck up for Suarez was a bit off? lets sack him and simultaneously annoy millions of our own club's fans.'
The sponsors and other commercial partners will have far more say than the fans as their revenue is absolutely critical and they can withdraw it whereas the fans might moan but they'll still come to games and buy the shirts.

The best thing they could do is to read and digest the FA report and quietly accept it, take the ban and move on. But situations like this often call for scapegoats and Dalglish, brought in effectively as a caretaker on a 2 year contract and not really delivering the goods consistently, is an easy one.

Liverpool's owners will be terrified at the thought of how this will be perceived in the US.

Liverpool fans make me sick. Sat at work with 3 dipper fans (1 black) all claiming its "a part of the game"..... Sigh What a shit club

Fergie and the rags have acted with a whole lot more class than Dalglish and Liverpool over this.

When he does eventually tee off about the process, and the criticisms of Evra and Liverpools actions it's not going to be pretty.

Its perhaps easier to be restrained when you know you're going to win. Fergie's known from immediately after the game that Suarez admitted to using the term "negro". From that moment there was only ever going to be one outcome.

Fergie, Evra and United in general must have been absolutely splitting their sides watching Liverpool's subsequent antics.

I'm surprised they've kept so quiet tbh. I'd be astonished if they approved that rubbish that the club put out.

interesting development over at rawk where the latst suarez topic has been locked with this final comment from a moderator:

I am not going to pick out specific posts, but there are far too many posts on here that are embarrassing to the posters and by extension, to the site.

Locked.

The issue is bigger than rivalries and far too complex for some of the people who insist on expressing their opinion on it. Empty vessels do indeed make the most noise.

The wisest posters on here have been the ones who are unsure and uneasy, clearly that is not an easy position to take and they have taken a lot of flak for it. It's got to stop quite frankly.

it comes to somthing when even the people who run rawk are starting to realise what an absolute embarassment they have become

Do they still have "Suarez is innocent" attached to every account whether people want it or not?

"Mr Suarez is not a racist!" and yes they do!

-- Mon Jan 02, 2012 3:57 pm --

strange place is rawk. its the only football forum i know where discussion about a game when a game is in progress is banned. now they are banned from talking about suarez. eventually all lfc related discussion will be banned to ensure no further embarassment is heaped on them.
