Was watching the footy but flicked over to talksport as I knew ray houghton was about to speak on Suarez..

Let's not judge yet till all the facts come out remember the Carlos tevez situation he was barking on about..

Anything past or present associated with the scousers will not condemn.

houghton's talking shit. a) the facts have already come out in the investigation & b) suarez admitted the charge anyway. therefore he's guilty as charged & has been given an 8 match ban. scouse apologists should just get used to it & move on.

I think we have got to remember that there are deep rooted personal beliefs which may be unacceptable to us but which are endemic across the community we are talking about. Automatic assumptions which are handed down from generation to generation. Attitudes which have been unchanged for decades, centuries even. If you are exposed to that culture day after day, year after year, these attitudes are going to rub off and we need to bear that in mind before we rush too harshly to judgment.

Hey guys just my little piece since i am from argentina (pretty similar mentallity). Im not black but my mom calls me negrito all the time, its a very common term of endearment. I call negro to many of my good friends too. Surely my mom is not calling me little n...er as many here would have you believe

My point being that you shouldnt be that quick to brand someone a racist. "negro de mierda" is a common insult over here and whereas its offensive its not racist. Litteral translation would be black of

Litteral translation would be black of shit, (not n...er of shit mind you) and its the equivalent of saying "gordo de mierda" or fat of shit, in reality it means fucking fatguy (directed at me more than once hehe)

Point being the word negro is just an adjective not an insult, it becomes one when you attach the "de mierda" but you could replace negro for fat or short. Fucking short guy, fucking fat guy or fuckimg black guy. It falls in these category of insult, not under racism. Living in the US for a few years i learned the true meaning of the word "n...er" and trust me, as bad as Suarez's insult is, its no different in his eyes than calling messi fucking shortass.

Of course he is not back home, he is in ingurland so he should know better but at the same time i wouldnt expect someone as stupid as suarez to understand the difference between negrito and the N word.

I've seen old people here in Florida and trust me Suarez does not deserve to be catalogued in the same group.

There is no translation in spanish for the N word since the concept itself doesnt exist.

Since you are from Argentina and "Negro de mierda" is not racist, according to you. Would you mind giving us a few examples of what IS racist. Preferably what kind of language you would use to racially abuse a black man?

Not giving jobs to people due to the colour of their skin.....................

I've a nasty feeling the FA could be made to look very foolish over all this in the weeks to come unless they have concrete evidence to back themselves up.

Suarezs admission and Evras word would be ripped apart in a court of law by a fancy defense lawyer,

Plus Liverpools bizarre stance on all this maybe suggests they know the FA don't have anything else. Either that or they're as stupid as him.

I hope I'm wrong but I think this whole episode is far from over.

There was a QC on the FA's independent panel, so the buck-toothed degenerate is toast and no mistake. And liverpool are showing themselves to be a club where your average clan member would feel at home.

Agreed, what little respect I ever had for Barnes has now gone completely, he, more than anyone would have banged a totally different drum had it not been a Liverpool player and it just shows where his priorities lie, not about making a stand against racism but in his wallet, the fuckin hypocrite.

Some people are incredibly naive on here or extremely blinkered.

1. He admitted using the word because video and lip reading evidence would have caught him out.
2. He used it 10 or so times so obviously not a slip of the tongue
3. He's been in europe long enough to know calling a black person negro or a derivative of it is extremely offensive.
4. He is not a mate of Evra's, he probably hardly knows him
5. It's fairly well known that Evra is pretty touchy about the whole racism thing (understandably).
6. He's playing a team which is a bitter rival of theirs, he's hardly going to be calling one of their players "mate" loads of times in an important game.
7. He speaks spanish, Evra is french - why the fucl would he be calling Evra "mate" in his native language, he'd be more likely to use English as a common language.
8. It would be interesting to know how many times he's played against black players for other teams (and there's a fair few in the PL) and called them the same thing - I bet the answer is either zero or close to zero as I'm sure it would have been mentioned before. Therefore it was deliberately used at least 10 times to wind up Evra.

Any person who excuses or condones this behaviour is frigging deluded. He may not be a racist (arguable), it may be pure gamesmanship (cheating) to try and get an opposing player rattled and sent off - he just happened to use racist language to incite that.

Lets face it, he's a cheating, diving, biting, handballing, scum sucking, goofy toothed racist who will break every rule in the book to get an unfair advantage and he deserves any ban he gets.

(Apologies to Goofy for the racism slur if Disney lawyers are reading this :p)

PS What would be funny is if next Liverpool/Rags game half the crowd wore KKK hoods with Suarez written on them, I'd pmsl to see that. Problem is th deluded dippers would probably see that as supporting their player :p
