Save Our Ruben Interim

I bet he wished he had stayed at Sporting a bit longer. They have fallen off for a cliff since he left and sacked the manager already.

The lure of "TWGC"™, along with (I'm guessing) a substantial hike in salary, was too strong to resist, I guess. I just wonder; if he knew a couple of months ago what he knows now, re the mediocrity of that squad, would he have taken the gig? He was idolised at Sporting. Reading the caff, some of the great unwashed on there seem to be in two minds about him.

His pension pot will be sorted once he gets turfed and with the swamp situation being what it is should he decide to go for another 'top' job he'll have no issues getting ore with his credit in the bank from Sporting.

For the money involved I'd pop over to the swamp and manage them for 12 months.

They'd be even more shit than they are now and relegated if they let me do a season mind you.

I couldn't resist I'm sorry

The Faces - Ooh la la

I think anyone with half a fucking mind knows what a shit show they were (I mean to a man, everyone that posts on here would tell you) - the fact he went there tells you all you need to know about the stones he has. You want to be the guy after the guy that sorts them out, so I would say he is there for one reason only and that is the crazy money they've offered, he will be fucked off before the end of next season with a pay off that will see another hundred people laid off and straight into a cushty position managing in the French/Portuguese/Dutch league. Bunch of cunts the lot of them.

You think it's dawned on him yet that the rags job will set him back half a decade? When he gets sacked. The prospective next job won't be anywhere near the calibre that might have looked at him had he remained at sporting.

I know United bend the system but, can they spend much in this January window? I can't see them getting much for any of their present squad - who's gonna take Big Nose, even on a free?

Newcastle at home, then scousers - if we'd beaten them, as we should have done, they'd be looking at 9 defeats in a row after that lot. Oh, and they've got Arsenal in the FA Cup!

I could be wrong here but i think ten hag eluded to having a tight budget towards the end of last summer despite spending another £200m so they'll probably at least have to be prudent. They'll likely have another £200m to spend next summer though as they continue to rinse their clueless fanbase for every single possible penny. Their no concession tickets policy might even stretch that budget to £200.5m
