I'd love to go back to around 2014 2015 and read some of the posts on here predicting how and where United were gonna go. I truly thought they would be back at our heels despite Moyes and the signings he made... its unbelievable to see how stagnant they've become. Posters on here at that time were calling it though, decades until they become the side they were. They were right.

It's essential they don't win the Thursday League as that would give them entry to the Champions League.
No CL and Scruffy Jim tightening the purse strings would give Amoron very little spending power in the summer. Luckily they'll have another couple of new liver-wasting drunks from the youth team to select.
The real worry is the Glazers selling out to a rich Saudi, but it would be one hell of a price to compensate for their loss of earnings.
It's also essential PiGMOL don't conjure up the points required to get them sixth. This might sound far-fetched, but they have form for helping a couple of clubs.

There is no way they are finishing 6th. Top 10 would be a great result.

The Thursday league is doable. Would love spurs to beat them in that.

The EL is their last hope currently. As I've said before, no Europe next season will hurt them quite badly financially. £80-100m appears to be the range for how much they'll lose if that happens. A repeat of failing to qualify for Europe the following season would hopefully be the nail in the coffin of them having top 4 aspirations.
 
Interim should fuck the E.L. right off, then next season the lads can focus better - not on top four but avoiding relegation. A strong Leeds could be coming up, so he just needs to focus on finishing 17th or above. Too many pesky midweek games can be a distraction - and think of all the cleaners' pay Scruffy Jim can save without the extra games!

I think it's doable - just. Maybe Fishfingers'll return and help 'em secure another 15th place finish, with a bit of luck. Mind you, Hojland's bound to be bagging goals by the hatful next season - his quality's going to shine through - mark my words; what an investment he'll prove himself to be.

Come on Interim, lad - we're all right behind you.

Spurs are favourites. Athl Bilbao are also ahead of rags.

Rags and lazio are both 7 to 1.

Real sociadad 11 to 1.

Roma 13 . 1.

Frankfurt, ajax, lyon all still in.
