Scariest away day following City

Millwall - 2 fa cup replays in 1990 at the Old Den. The first I was in with the Millwall fans.

Then the one at the New Den in 1996? when we scored a winner at the end and got kept in for an hour after the game while the Millwall fans rampaged outside.

Tolka Park Dublin for the pre season "friendly" against Celtic 1992. Maybe not the worst but was up there
that was serious shit, remember being ambushed on a bridge near ground & a lad nearly got his eye took out by a flying bottle, the Guardia basically just fucked off the other way,no idea how we got out of that in 1 piece...

Luton in League cup 1977 as a 15 year old came out of the ground and Millwall teamed up with locals and ran at Blues scattering everywhere, ended up getting a lift back to Piccadilly in a strangers car as lost my mates and couldn’t find our coach.

Wasn't it the same day as the hurling final in Dublin so there wasn't meant police at Tolka. Genuinely feared I was about to get a right spanking in the toilet at half time till a few scots saved me, it wasn't the Scottish causing the mither it was the Celtic from Northern Ireland. Didn't help our cause that a few blues took Union Jack's to the game and to the plough before the game

Spurs away around 1977
3 Finglands coaches parked up in a cup de sac and after the game got attacked by Spurs.
I’m sure even Helen got a slap that day from them.
Wankers.
75/76 season possibly? 2-2 draw, Dave Watson headed a late equaliser, similar coach parking arrangements and a group of their nutters turned up and started chucking bottles etc and then chased a group of us waiting near the coaches (ours was locked for some reason). That was definitely scary for a bit until a van load of cops arrived.

Another notable away was the 4-1 loss to Forest in the Cup in '74, no real segregation and it kicked off all over the place before during and after the game.

Otherwise any visit to Leeds in the 70s plus Boro now and then and that Newcastle cup tie in '77. Those Millwall games in the late 80s/early 90s were fine for me as I just parked up in that dirt car park more or less behind the away end, easy getaway afterwards. Trips to West Ham and Chelsea were no picnics either, had a few coach windows put through at both grounds. On Merseyside Goodison always seemed worse than Anfield for trouble in those days.

Poznań

Walked into the wrong bar at the wrong time ... and this was the night before the game.. honestly thought I was not gonna get out of there alive !!
