Scariest away day following City

I remember some poor bastard scouser car had parked up near Claremont School.....someone checked their tax disc then torched it.....another was tipped on its side.
Saw 5 Spurs fans in a posh BMW get their car trashed in Maine Road front carpark in 80s, and they were sat in the car. Not nice but bad blood between us n' them ever since 81 final and replay.

Remember getting pints of piss poured on us off them ****s in “umbro” stand during the infamous cup q/final, they had most of the exec boxes :-/

Brannigans, that was some gaff, I remember one of the first early derby day kick offs at Maine Road, game finished one each, we ended up in Brannigans, it was horrible, City n United under one roof, didn't take long for it to kick off, vicious, spread to Shambles square and beyond, a day n night of fun n games.
Used to absolutely luv it in Brannigans, better class of fanny n less watered down than the Cyprus, though both similar the minute sparks flew !

Sound Bars City and United were always in there never kicked off though with one another

On the Russian thing which is not the thread topic they attacked a load of drunk Dad's having a sing song and arrived mysteriously on a state sponsored plane. It was political flexing of muscle prior to the world cup in my opinion.
Oh yes, they were Putin's boys alright.

Yes first home game of season,we won previous Saturday at Coventry 1-0 was at both games great kit all moroon.
We took a shed load of fans to Cov that day.An absolutely fantastic turn out.we must have had 1/3 of the ground that day.Terrace packed ..over in the far corner, more Blues behind the goal, and then most of down one side too.

Yes I was down side Quinn with the winner and nice sunny day.

Ewood Park, 2000.

I thought we had fucked it. I felt physically sick when they scored, and god knows how they didn’t score more. I really did think if we didn’t get promoted then we wouldn’t manage it for a few more seasons....worst away day I can remember until the goat stepped up.
