Until the Chelsea game, Gundogans best performance in a City shirt was in 2016 against Barcelona. Since then, he has largely been absolute turd. If we have afforded Gundogan this leeway, why should Foden be any different? Too many people are being blinded by Gundogans semi-decent form over the past month and easily forgetting the dross he has served up for the 2 years previous to it.
If Gundogan continues his improvement, I agree Foden will have his time limited but should he revert back to typical Gundogan, I have no issues with him being binned for Foden.
Gundo has been decent. We can hardly blame his for the times he’s been out with a crucial knee jury.
Phil needs to seize the limited chances he gets. He really stated to do that Vs Newport but was anonymous for much of Burton Away and Rotherham at home. He will get better with more game time like several posters have said.
