I'd have to watch it again, but it looked like Raz hit it early and found the gap between his arm and leg. Could be wrong.Mate! He was far too far over to his left, he was nearly covering the corner flag.

The foul on the attacker took place before any player was near the ball.but as 2 players offside and challenging the keeper for the ball, how the fuck is this missed by VAR?

That's an excellent point I wish I has made last night.
From what I gather, next season, the penalty would stand and be unequivocal and Bony's would be ruled out under the coming IFAB guidelines on "accidental handball effecting goals/goal bound shots".
If that is the case, then I would imagine there will be far, far more penalties next season, as players will simply start shooting at the arms of a defending opponent as soon as they enter the box. That lot did it at West Ham in 2011 and were immediately awarded a penalty (Lee Mason); indeed, I often think that that decision was a turning point in how deliberate handball came to be interpreted.

Neighbour asked the missus what all the noise was last night and she told him that it was just me making a lot of noise swearing at the telly and prowling around the living room, he asked who won and she told him City did and he said that he was a rag fan, she asked him if he went to any games and he said he wasn't into football that much, which made perfect sense.
