Walton reffing in City games always reminded me of this **** from little nicky and that entire scene.
"let the sin, begin!"
"let the sin, begin!"
Ball kicked, travels ten yards, hits hand to stop ball going into net area, is handball.i'd love to here of the first pen and how it was the correct decision?
Yes, I agree. The yellow was stupid, VAR couldn't do anything about it though, 'cause the referee valued the action.Even if you give the penalty, I can't see it being a yellow card. He didn't move his hand to the ball at all, the opposite if anything. I could see the pen being given but not the yellow.
Can he afford the touchline ban too ?No, he thinks they're pens, he agrees with the red card................and can afford the fine.
Thank you!
Incorrect. The LAWS OF THE GAME require player to move hand to ball for offence to be committed
My first thought too, but when I watched it from another angle, it was the other way round, Sterling did well to stay on the ball !Surprised sterling wasn’t disallowed for nudge
