Scholes

Would have been nice if the "random" fixture generator at the premier league had given us Newcastle at home to start off, they look awful. united look nothing special at all but, as usual, have been gifted a guaranteed opening weekend 3 points.

I agree with you, but although we have a tough start, we already have a point on the board at a ground which is a grave yard for us. We missed out on Chumps league football from Spuds by 3 points last season. We've played one game and already made that deficit up! Things will be fine, the futures bright the futures blue!

Great constructive player be in any of my teams. But he has got away with murder with his tackling. He should have a record for red cards. Then you have overrated Shrek. But when he scores we will hear how he is one of the best in the world. Bollocks he's crap & if picked for England should be on the bench.

ANYONE SEE ANDY GRAY AND THAT TWAT KEYS DROOLING OVER THE MAGIC OF SCHOLES, THOUGHT KEYS WAS GOING TO HAVE A WANK.

Some of you sound like skysports employees. Talk about soundbite shite.

Scholes has been the best player produced by England since Gazza. Different type of player, but in terms of natural ability, I've never had a problem admitting that as a city fan.

However, let's stop with this scholes is still great bullshit. There were many competitive games last season, where he was well off the pace. He's played in a charity game, and a game against a championship side. Smith and Barton might as well have wiped his arse for him last night. Every time he got the ball, there was no effort to press. It was like a training game for Scholes, so naturally, if given that amount of time, he can still produce a few quality passes.

I would like you all to renew this thread after Scholes has played against an Everton, Spurs, Liverpool or Villa never mind arsenal, us and chelsea. I certainly do not fear Scholes this season whatsoever. So can we all put things into context please

The fixture generator actually did give us Newcastle at home but we didn't want a home game first (due to City Street) so they swapped games with the rags instead, who otherwise would have been at Spurs.

Couple of things id like to take to task here.

Best passer in world football? I think xavvi might wanna have a word in your ear about that one.

Best player ever to grace the premier league. begkamp was twice the player schoiles will ever be.
