Scotland - Does anyone go?

Only ever really gone there with work. Cold, wet, windy and snowy and when its not its warm and midge infested so you get bitten to buggery. I find the cities very stark - I was in Glasgow looking for a bench to sit down and have a sarnie - couldn't find one - seems all very Presbyterian and built more for making money rather than attending to worker welfare.

Some of the "new towns" thrown up in the 70's are the worst - they remind me of bits of South Wales - Christ the working classes have been poorly served over the decades with affordable housing.

Ultimately I think holidays in the UK my face turns south to where there is warmth and sunshine.

Perhaps the question should be....

Does anyone come back.

The scenery is nice but they are weird fuckers.
