Scotland - Does anyone go?

So many stunning locations . The road to Lochcarron and then up to Applecross . Ullapool and the scenic coastal routes all the way up to Durness and Tongue . Dornoch and the coastal nature reserve there . And if i go up on my motorcycle the road from Tomintoul to Braemar . That passes though the Lecht , Glenshee and finally down into Braemar . Stunning .
I dream about touring Scotland on a bike, sadly I fear I may have left it a bit late, what bike have you got?

Footy aside. I think the place is outstanding. Not long back from Aberdeen(or Fraserburgh- Proper fishing town). The hills and shit on the way up, fuckin beautiful place. Yeah we have the inner city's etc like every ware, but fuck me, lovely place to go.

Love it.

Usually go Glasgow for football. But loved my family holidays around Edinburgh, and north.

Loved visiting drumnadrochit and staying in a old converted farm house as a kid with my mum & dad.

Funnily enough, I would buy you a drink, you and that @LGW10 @shackattack and the other Evertonians. Whilst I would take photos of your hair I would go to the loo when you started on your patter, one can only take so many 'I was at Bannockburn' stories.

Have I told you I nearly died, twice, on Ben Macdui ?
Why thank you kind Sir and of course it would be reciprocated if you ever venture to Derry.

As for Scotland, of late it has usually been a place I transit on the drive from Stranraer to Bury to visit the family.
First time ever there was to be best man for my mate at his wedding in Aberdeen and the first time wearing a kilt. Always a good time and the further north you go the better it gets I think

It is of course best appreciated when not having to drive so you can take in the scenery.

I love Scotland. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both ace and everything north of Glasgow is beautiful. Spent a fair bit of my formative teen years in Glasgow and always had a blast when I was there.

To this day my family regularly go on holiday in the Highlands, over near Fort William, Oban, Mallaig - that sort of area. Our favourite film as a family is Local Hero, shot and based around that area.

In 2010 we spent a week in Kilchoan and Portuairk, the most westerly point in the British mainland. I remember listening to us beat Liverpool 3-0 on 5 Live because the radio was the only way we could access the outside world.

I knew a Scottish fella who went to Scotland once but he didn't like it - although i did go to Perth and it was stunning

Love Scotland. Used to go to Aviemore most years ‘skiing’ and to sample the local whisky’s. Not much skiing got done. In the summer we used to go fishing around Arran and the Mull of kintyre. If I ever manage to escape oz I’ll definitely return.

Been a few times, Ibrox , Hampden Park, great trips apart from a Joe Miller winner in 89. My ex mrs was from Kirkaldy so went there a couple of times, not much on offer but nice enough.
Best trip was a long weekend in Kinlochbervie for a wedding, long drive but some stunning scenery on the way up, had an overnight in Perth en route but did the return drive in one go, about 7hrs all told.

Last year we had a week in a lodge on the edge of Loch Ard, did plenty of walking and had a trip into Edinburgh for the day which was good, was advised to park at the airport and get the tram in, great advice as the City was near gridlocked.
