Have to agree that 8 Million seems low thought it was 10 Million but having said that the fuck witterery of our transfer negogiation this year anything could be true - AJ for 8 - Sinclair for 10 really really would not suprise me

AJ was sold for around £15m.

The numnber widely reported was 10 - not seen 15 - maybe 15 with add ons

Unsurprisingly, the figure widely reported is inaccurate. The fee was just shy of £15m plus add-ons. Also a sell-on clause.

Transfermarkt says £11.08million for Johnson, not sure where they get their numbers from but have Rodwell as £13.2million too.

Just to say, and as a further precision, the 'Wales. Plenty to do when there's extra time' advert just shown on Sky, is not an indication of the packed personal lives of our large jawed fellow mammals.

Great. Someone actually thought that whales may have internet access and so posted the apparent update....

:-o

Their computers would get wet ......and do the sperm ones visit porn sites ?

As do the blue ones (the humpback ones have watched far too much).....

AJ failed after a promising start no other way to put it. IF AJ knuckled down and worked harder he would of been still in Mancinis plans. Sadly he thought he made it at the club after a half a season.

For Sinclair at the club. Its simple knuckle down work hard and enjoy playing with the players. I dont mind seeing a player taking players on which I hope Sincalir will do but he knows he has a battle to get into the side which AJ seemed to think he should of been playing even if he wasnt working hard to get into the team. Any way we will wait and see what happens.

Yeah transfermarkt is an independent assessment of a players current worth not what a team have actually paid necessarily.

Transfer fees are influenced by current wages/duration of contract left etc. Check out RVP's worth...that wasn't what the rags paid as other factors were involved.

I think Sinclair will go on to prove the majority of people wrong. He will be great for us.

I'm happy with this. what I've seen of Sinclair (albeit not a lot) has been good. Johnson used to frustrate me. Great impact player but he obviously wasn't happy to be that. The times he got chances from the start he disappointed on most occasions in my opinion. It's not like he never got the opportunity. I still wish him well at Sunderland though.

Gut feel tells me Sinclair will officially be announced this evening

He's not on the squad today... surely that means he's on his way to us
he only has 140 potential on Football Manager though, which means absolutely sh*t all but thought I'd mention it for jokes

Football Manager and Fifa are very real on here i will have you know ;)

Hahaha, that's very true, but still annoys the hell out of me... I remember a few years ago when Joe Hart was worst than Kasper Schmeichel, look how that turned out
