Scott Sinclair (continued)

Don't forget the game he missed pk when we played against them last season.
He gave us trouble on the flank and was very effective .He had great impact in that game .
Just don't let him take pk that all .I hope Bobby can transform his kid

I think we could do better with the likes of Mertens and Cerci knocking about but Sinclair is proven as a decent player in the Premier League and I'm sure he'll become a worthy addition to the squad under Mancini's leadership. He'll add a bit of pace and a few goals too. That's not a bad signing for £6.2m.

Welcome to Manchester, Scott Sinclair.

The real kids in this thread are the ones throwing their toys out of the pram because not everybody agrees that Scott Sinclair is the answer. They want this place to be full of cheerleaders I think...

That would be wonderful...

I'm not fussy. Anyone of them will do for me......... ;o)

Oregon? Not good enough.

USC cheerleaders will be better!

A link to your earlier post would seem appropriate as we don't have the time or inclination to plough through hundreds of post for the necessary authentication.

I think you need to get a grip, no one has thrown their toys out the pram asking for a big name player.

I have seen people question if Sinclair is good enough for us.

How can you question if a player is good enough when he hasn't even kicked a ball yet?

Sinclair has shown his ability many tones for Swansea, you think Mancini would sign him if he thought he was shit? with the players we have around the likes of Sinclair and Rodwell will only improve their game and ability.

Shauny Wright was ace for us went to Chelsea and did wank, Barry was good at Villa came to us and is now one of our most important players despite the fact the majority of football fans think he's dog shit!

How well a player did or didn't do at his previous club is irrelevant, it's about what ability they have shown.

Eh?

I can question if I think a player is good enough by having seen them play, and with Sinclair he has played mediocre in a mediocre team, lets hope he improves.

If we had got Di Rossi to make our midfield world class I don't think anyone would complain when we get further additions like Sinclair. It's just that with a day to go it looks like the likes of Sinclair are our signings of the summer and the weakness in our team whenever Yaya isn't playing is still glaringly there.

Did you watch Swansea week in week out? Or are you going off 5 minute MoTD clips like the people who claim Adam Johnson is class??

Who would you drop for De Rossi? Barry or Yaya? Because he won't sit in the bench waiting for Yaya to go to AcON

I stand by what I said how well a player did or didn't do doesn't necessarily mean he's going to be shit or not, Clichy did shit for arsenal look at him for us, Barry was good at villa and had become an important player for us!

People just need to get their head out of the skies and stop bitching because we haven't got 22 world class players! United bought mediocre players last season and had mediocre players in the squad and still managed to push us to the last minute.

Regardless of teams around us strengthening with great players we've still got the best squad, we spent 2 years strengthening our squad with world class players here and there whilst others bought mediocre players to strengthen their squads, it's now our time to just strengthen the squad instead of panicking about what's to come in January when Yaya leaves, he's one player for Christ sake I'm sure we'll manage fine with, Hart, Richards, Zab, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Rodwell, Sinclair, Nasri, Silva, Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli....

We struggled last season during the x-mas period when we still had Yaya, losing Yaya has fuck all to do with why people are crying about not signing a world class player the fact is that everyone had come to expect it and when it doesn't happen they get into a massive huff...

It's embarrassing!

The answer to what?

Maybe the majority of us are "throwing our toys out of the pram" is because the kid hasn't even put the shirt on yet and people are already crying because he's not De Rossi or Messi.

It's fucking embarrassing and makes all of us look like little spoilt kids throwing ourselves to the floor kicking and screaming because daddy didn't buy us what we wanted!

A player who didn't make it at Chelsea then had one season at a newly promoted club that is not the answer by any stretch of the imagination. The reason why people are p*ssed off is that we have just sold the answer and brought in a pretender. Significantly weakening our wide man position is not the right thing to do in our position.

Cerci could have been a good option; but he went to Torino I think. They bought half his contract for £2.5m only!
