haha good

i never trust a transfer till its on the os, there are too many other distractions
: family, agents, money, length of contract etc etc

i was told by IMPECCABLE SOURCES that hazard and isco were in the bag only to be let down and deflated later. i'm stronger now and will not spend the money from victor until i see it on our os! ;)

Were these impeccable sources BLUEMOON???

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Southampton could be making a £5million cash bid according to the Mirror while West Brom try and play games by not committing to buying him next summer after his loan.

Please do.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

It would be lovely to see WBA fucked over because they were being cheap twats.

5m is good money but i'd also like first dabs on Shaw...!

Don't we need Scott Sinclair in our squad to fulfil the homegrown quota?

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/fans/faqs/home-grown-player-rule/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/fans ... ayer-rule/</a>

To ensure that Premier League Clubs continue to produce top home-grown talent, the 20 Clubs introduced a Home Grown Player rule from the start of the 2010/11 campaign. Clubs cannot name more than 17 non home grown players aged over 21. For example some clubs will have a squad list of 23 because they may have 17 over 21 non home grown players.

Micah
Barry
Clichy
Lescott
Milner
Hart
Rodwell
Wright
Boyata
Huws
Razak
Guidetti
---
Nastasic (not 21+)
---

So I can still name 17 non homegrown players over 21. Wonder if I'll be able to piece this together. ;)

Panti
Kolarov
Kompany
Zaba
Fernandinho
Navas
Nasri
Silva
Garcia
Yaya
Dzeko
Aguero
Jovetic
Negredo

Fuck, that's only 14.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

A mate who has been cleaning up on transfer bets this summer says Scott Sinclair has agreed terms with Southampton. No idea what his source is but he's just put £50 down

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Southampton fans seem confident they'll get him - Puncheon loaned to Palace today and while Puncheon plays on the opposite wing (right) I think it was said last night that he would be gotten rid of to make way for Sinclair. Cortese doesn't fook around unlike West Brom, whose chief admitted the other day they had been to Serie A clubs to study their model, explaining their attempts to penny pinch and do the "loan with option to buy" deals.

Those that have lumped on him going to WBA arses will be twitching, a lot of confidence in the Southampton camp they could have this done by weekend.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Hope he gets a permanent deal sorted out - suspect all he needs is regular football and a manager and fans who have confidence in him

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Will Sinclair be a definite first team player at the Saints? Lambert, Lallana, Osvaldo, Ramirez, Rodriquez, De Prado's really strong for a mid-table team.

Medical at west brom today

It looks like the news that Southampton were in for him gave West Brom that much needed push eh ;-)

He's hardly shit. Did well at Swansea both in the Premiership and the Championship. Sadly for him he wasn't good enough for the Premiership winners(I'm sure doubling his wages and keeping Rosie happy helps ease the pain.), hopefully it works out for him. The point is Southampton's midfield is frighteningly strong for a team that got promoted just last season.

Mail reckon we're getting 2 mill for a season long loan with the option to buy at the end of it - assuming another 2-4 million? Either way we've done well to bin him off and get £2 mill for a year long loan!

Atherton made a good point yesterday regarding Kerrigan having to earn the respect of the players in the dressing room, you can tell by the videos on the OS he seems out of his depth even with the squad off the field, never mind his on field ability.

Re: Scott Sinclair. WBA?

Birmingham Mail: Sinclair is due for talks and a medical with West Brom today. WBA to pay £2m for the loan and most of his £60k/week wages.

If he really is on 60k a week....then whoever gave him that needs sacking.

wtf 60k? wouldnt have thought that, and tbh wba should pay the whole wage imo. whatever happens wish him gd luck at wba. would have preferred a permanant deal really, but they have an option to buy

He'll still have been one of our lowest paid players. Sadly it's the going rate at the big clubs. Ashley Young's reportedly on over a 100 grand a week and I don't think he's much better than Sinclair.
