Think he could prove to be a decent squad signing if he works hard, doesn't get too arrogant, and listens to Mancini (something Johnson has problems doing). £5.5million+ is a good price and he will have some re-sell value if we don't continue the stupid wage epidemic. Gives us a different option and having played for Swansea will be used to a pass-heavy style. Just have to forget him missing an open net against the scum last season now.

There is no such thing as a Marwood signing,if Marwood wanted him but Mancini didnt then he'd have no chance of playing for us.

Swansea being a better team than Wigan may have a bearing on that goal stat though.

If £5.5m is true, I find it surprising that Laudrup is willing to let go of him for so little, especially when they want £15m for Allen.

IMO, Moses & Johnson are better than Sinclair anyway.

Isn;t Sinclair on the last year of his contracts whereas Allen has a bit to go and a buyout clause?

He definitely needs to improve IMO to become a 'successful' player.

With regards to sell on value, this will only come to fruition if he actually does well.
 
I'm suprised by this, even as a squad player.


Could be something in this AJ plus cash for Agger rumour now
 
If AJ leaves, then this is a good signing IMO, although a a little underwhelming. For 5m he isn't pricey, he's young and homegrown, and he has great pace. I'm actually surprised at the hostile reaction to Sinclair after all the pleas for pacey wingers from some members.

As far as comparing him to AJ, he is near as good on the ball, has better pace, is younger, and will probably be on less expensive wages. Wouldn't be a terrible addition.
 
Sinclair has 1 year left on his contract and that's why his value is lower than it usually would be as make no mistake any half-decent English winger usually has a big price tag. Wolves are asking £11million for Matt Jarvis!

Wolves may have been awful, but Matt Jarvis was damn good last year. Miles away the best Wolves player, except for maybe Fletcher but thats a stretch. He murdered people on the left side, just didn't have anyone to help him out.
