That fan with the drum needs to be taken to sunday morning mass, where he can atone for being a twat.
It’s more than just the drum today. Choice of songs today has been dreadful. Luckily 90% watching won’t have a clue what those wee Fannie’s are singing but unfortunately I’m in the 10% that does and it’s ruining what was been a decent enough game. Well as decent as you can get up there

Rangers now gone more than 150 consecutive corners without scoring

Over 8 months without a league penalty

It’s taken you till now to realise this?

No, I've posted similar for the best part of 2 and a bit years! I'm not part of any love in for the guy, that being said I'm not sure I can agree with any part of the rest of your post.

The last time he was offered the Rangers job he refused it, and tbh I'm not convinced he'd even think that Rangers might come in again despite media speculation. I'm not saying he wouldn't take it, hypothetically, but hoping for the job and desperate for Clement to be sacked...I haven't seen or heard a single thing from McInnes to suggest any of that.

Got Killie promoted then European football and assembled a very decent squad on a shoestring of a budget.

Those players have not suddenly become poor players or a poor squad. I might be mistaken but have you not had quite a few injuries ?

His brand of football is not the best but he gets the best out of what he has. I’ve never been convinced he’d make a Rangers manager. I believe he’s at his level and Killie and him are a good fit

I read he wouldn’t turn it down, if asked again.

I agree he has found his level at Killie, that’s why I would love you to take him.

I had a fairly long post typed out in reply to this but lost it lol.

Long story short he's he's done all of the above, but with some context. Particularly around getting us promoted.

Whilst I appreciate our position and standing within the game, I can see both sides as to why McInnes is good for us but equally I have loads of criticisms.

The style of play is the main drawback. Finding myself more and more sitting on my phone checking other scores because the product on show is so so bad. I guess managers who set up a team to play the "right way" get a bit more leeway when things aren't going well than McInnes old school tactics where he has to get the points or fans will turn.

I remember a Kenny Shiels side losing at home to Rangers, can't remember the full time score but we lost 2 goals from trying to pass it out from the back and had loads of youth academy players in the squad. I definitely cut him more slack for that than I do a McInnes side losing 1-0 at St Johnstone when all we do is hoof it all game to his ever misfiring favourite players whom he refuses to take out of the team.

If only you sold the extra tickets to old firm clubs you’d have more money to spend…..

…joke : )))))

Tonight is one of the few nights when All of Scottish football will be backing and cheering on the Rangers as they take on Spurs in European competition .

Their support is much appreciated

Can you both lose?

Nonsense penalty decision for Copenhagen Vs Hearts btw. They had one plucked out of thin air against us back in August, this one just as bad.

I'm meaning the way the squads are just now. Both Rangers and Aberdeen are absolutely miles off.
Hmmmmmm

After last night I’d say we are not miles off it and in fact are very decent against better opposition as we have shown over a number of years in European competition.

Miles off challenging for prizes. Absolutely but not miles off holding a place in the league and that’s without having the ridiculous TV money

You can't base last night on how you'd fare in a 38 game season. It's all well and good to raise your game for some European matches but it's after playing Ross County away and not Chelsea at home. The current squad wouldn't even nearly cope.

It’s not one game though is it. It’s consistently playing well over a number of years against opposition of EPL standard

I’m not saying they’d compete for trophies.

Course it's one off. As I say, when you play against Ross County, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Killie, Motherwell etc then have to face European opposition - on your current budget and size of playing squad - it's easy enough for you to treat the European games all like finals. If your lowest routine league opposition was of the standard of Ipswich, Leicester, Southampton that just wouldn't be possible.

If Rangers started this current season in the english PL in their current state they'd be both relegated and out of Europe by the end of the group stage, imo. Aberdeen a huge mile further behind.

We will have to agree to disagree ….

Did we just sort something out fairly civilly?
Is that not the way it should be ; )

I’ve said from day one I’ll call it as I see it and try and give my honest opinion and I do that no matter who it upsets. Believe me I’ve upset a few on Follow Follow with my (almost) unswerving support of our manager.

It would be a fairly boring forum if everybody agreed.

The flag was seen in the section housing the away support during the Celtic v Hibernian Scottish Premiership match on December 7.

A number of days after the match the Orange Order made a complaint to the Police about the banner.

The flag was a green, white and orange tricolour flag with a Heart of Midlothian logo in the centre with the words ‘We’ll never be mastered by no orange b****** printed on it’.

But but but it’s only an Old Firm problem

But but but it’s only a West of Scotland problem

For the most part, it is. Celtic and Rangers as clubs encourage it, profit from it and the majority of each fanbase aligns themselves to a certain persuasion.

Hearts, Hibs and Airdrie have elements who are just as bad but the majority of their fanbase no. That's the difference. Someone linked a Cercle Bruges forum to me the other week where the Cercle fans were discussing Hearts fans behaviour including racism and constant anti IRA chanting from their support. Hearts fans made a thread about it on their own forum with the vast majority calling their own out and trying to disassociate.

That's the clubs who have problems. As I see it in Scotland, nobody else does - there will be the odd isolated incident I get that, but as a general standard it's those 5 who have problems to differing extents.
