Scottish Independence

Did you see the 670 page manifesto in 2013/14?
I can freely admit I didn’t read it but if I was voting in that election I’d have had a good look. If there’s a repeat I’m sure there will be an updated version. Shame Leave weren’t made to produce that same level of detail.

The main detail at the time, due to other present issues not mattering as we were all in the EU, was currency and it was rejected by the UK government, the proposals Scotland made.

England and the rest of the UK being out of the EU makes this infinitely more complicated and makes most of 2014 irrelevant.

Has Sturgeon mentioned MFN once? Has she talked about them having to join the EURO? Who Scotland’s central bank will be? Customs checks?

No, because then independence movement dies when these issues are in the open.

The referendum campaign is in the early stages. Why not wait till it is properly launched before complaining about lack of detail.

Not an indy supporter, voted no last more a wait and see. 34% want a referendum now, 66% want to wait and see Sturgeon is in the 66% so no big deal.

The actual ref will be close but the advisory poll will attract yes voters to select no, that don’t want a referendum for a few years.

They have been pushing it for 4 years and cannot answer a single question on the key aspects of what the agreement will be.

Where have we seen this before?

It’s not just a few finer details, it’s the big whopping questions that will need an answer.

Nobody can even tell me what currency they will use.

There is no way there will be one in this term of government, absolutely no way whatsoever.

I see she’s flirting with the idea of an advisory poll, that should be funny when she loses it.

Which term of which government? Westminster or Holyrood?

You can’t call it irrelevant if you haven’t.
You may well be right, but how can you know the details if you haven’t.

If they go into all the necessary detail before next requesting the people to choose, would it not be better dissecting that.

At least 5 years imho before the U.K. and therefore the Scots can see what the outcome of brexit means for them.

Again, valid and fair, as is your previous post. I don't disagree. However, that up to the Scottish people and the government they elect to decide.

Not to mention border talks with the rest of the UK.

Nobody can answer any question that you (royal you) refuse to accept an answer to. You can say they haven't answered, the reality is, they have. In detail. Some question that detail, some believe it.

Eirher way, things have changed, new answers and questions are needed, that i agree on
