Again, valid and fair, as is your previous post. I don't disagree. However, that up to the Scottish people and the government they elect to decide.

As we know it's the UK govt that will decide the date not the Scots. I would imagine they will pick a date when they think they have a better chance of success.
 
They are connected to the UK by a land border.
I said rest of UK, not UK.

There would have to be negotiations about the land border between England, part of the UK, and Scotland, part of the EU.

Actually, no. The UK gov decides whether to transfer the powers. they can withold that, for sure, which is what Boris is doing. But then the Scottish governmet decides the rest.
Moot point, i agree with your logic, just highlighting mechanism. And the democracy of it.

N.Ireland a part of the UK shares a land border with the Eu country of Ireland, why can’t they have a copy and pasted arrangement. I’ll be honest with you I do know the answer.
