Scottish Independence

Nobody can answer any question that you (royal you) refuse to accept an answer to. You can say they haven't answered, the reality is, they have. In detail. Some question that detail, some believe it.

Eirher way, things have changed, new answers and questions are needed, that i agree on

Okay, let’s make it very easy, please answer these points-

What currency will Scotland use?

Where will the central bank be?

How long will it take to join the EU?

What will the border look like?

If your answer is no border, how are you going to get around MFN?

What currency will Scotland use?
Monopoly money!

Where will the central bank be?
Glasgow!

How long will it take to join the EU?
As long as it takes!

What will the border look like?
A big, squiggly line!

If your answer is no border, how are you going to get around MFN?
We'll use planes!

Or words to that effect :)

Did you read it?
You can’t call it irrelevant if you haven’t.
You may well be right, but how can you know the details if you haven’t.

If they go into all the necessary detail before next requesting the people to choose, would it not be better dissecting that.

Yes I did, at the time.

Well I did what everyone does and I read the version that covered the main points and overheads.

You can know it’s irrelevant without reading a single word of the detail published in 2013, by understanding that becoming an independent state when the state you’re breaking away from is in the EU and becoming one when that state isn’t, is a completely different scenario and every policy has to change.

You keep mistaking me for someone trying to make a case for independence.

anyway, i'll disagree with you after the game bud. catch up then.

You can just say the SNP’s policy on each if you wish?

These are critical questions that need answering and it’s exactly why I keep saying those leading the independence campaign, don’t give details.

Which version is that, the daily mail summary?

Agree with the second paragraph. Which is why i earlier said, new answers, new questions. You had argued there were no answers given in 2014 (as a response to the poster that contrasted that campaign with the leave eu campaign). I said they had. we both agree that a lot of that needs revisited now, post-brexit.

I mean, that first line is just insulting but I’ll ignore it.

Do you not find it worrying she wants the referendum now and hasn’t said anything on those main points I’ve asked? No one is able to answer them.

It’s more farcical and laughable than the Leave campaign during Brexit.

And the Scottish parliament who can say up yours we're having one, then what do you do?

Well whatever way the vote goes it’s invalid until it’s approved by the House of Commons and put through the Lords.

Sturgeon is debating an advisory poll, which would be unofficial, in the hope of applying pressure if she wins it but she’s unlikely to as she is smart enough to know she’ll probably lose.
