Adrian’s Wall
We've been talking about the Scottish mandate but Johnson has no UK mandate to sanction a referendum given he has a big majority on the basis that there'd be no Scottish referendum and Scexit would affect both parts of the UK.
We might see one around 2024 onwards (2027ish is my guess) if the SNP continue winning lots of votes and because I think the UK will then have the resources to deal with any Scexit.
In that time, the SNP should think about reducing their deficit if they want the Scottish people to believe that leaving the UK then joining the EU is a credible option. Although, I think as soon as they start making budget cutbacks, their vote share will drop so it's a bit of a catch 22 for them.
The strange thing is she now bangs on about the will of the people, yet for the last 3 years she's spent her time trying to block the will of the people, Perhaps a little hypocritical.Scottish Tories and Tories as a whole ran on a ‘no Indy 2’ ticket and were roundly rejected by the Scottish electorate. SNP ran on a independence ticket and increased their vote share and seats. If Johnson has a mandate then so does Sturgeon. Blocking the issue just feeds into the SNP narrative. Engaging in meaningful discussions on further devolution, power sharing and a voice on Scottish issues on Brexit ie fishing rights would dissipate the narrative.
Even the Pope uses the expression "Are the SNP hypocritical cunts?" when faced with a statement of the obvious. The strange thing is she now bangs on about the will of the people, yet for the last 3 years she's spent her time trying to block the will of the people, Perhaps a little hypocritical.
I reckon that'd be a factor to a lot of middle ground Scots in a vote in all honesty. Inconveniences of adjusting things like documentation and all.
WTF? Is that the Emperor Adrian? The one that succeeded Emperor Wayne?
She certainly does get to much air time.. the press only need to play a recording of her to save her the bother of fresh quotes... she repeats the same f******* message every time
hardly hypocritical when the Scots rejected Brexit by a large margin don't you think? The strange thing is she now bangs on about the will of the people, yet for the last 3 years she's spent her time trying to block the will of the people, Perhaps a little hypocritical.
