Are the priced out not trying to relocate before giving up? There are about 2,200 new £299 STs and about 1,200 new £380 STs. Chances are high you won't get one in the mad rush of the many priced out (of level 2) or new arrivals to grab one, but surely worth a shot before packing it in completely.

I think we'd be foolish not to. 1700 is taking the piss, but yes there are other, affordable options - if one of these is available I will snap it up.

Any other seat in the ground is more affordable, and you will certainly have the option of getting one.

No. They are chucking their toys out of the pram without actually thinking about it too much

.....and if it's the effected in L2 who are saying they are giving it up because they are priced out, that's not true because those effected in L2 are all but guaranteed a £299 upwards ticket if they wanted one.

yes - but they want the best seats in the house.

Club spend a billion on the infrastructure and the best team in most of our lifetimes and they are "killing the fans" by taking a couple of thousand seats for corporate - Whatever you do don't mention again that they will get the first dabs on £299 tickets (and rightly so). Fuck me - 299 to see the worlds best players. I'm sure this thread is a wind up!!!!

No I wasn't pissed and i stand by what i said. The season ticket hike is bad but was sort of expected but they have brought in price rises of around 10-15% in the East stand for the last 3 years.

We have gone from being the dominant force over the last 3 years to also rans out of both cups by lower league opposition, attrocious performance at home to barca and absolute mediocrity most of the time in the league. We have gone backward each year which is now showing as the clubs along side us are starting to spend much more wiser.

I guess the comparison with Arsenal is a little off but we are a north west club were money is a factor to a lot of people. Yes I know you can get cheap tickets but if you ant to watch from the gods then it's up to you. I guess we'll see in the next few years if the owners have got it right.

I do hope they have as I've been a season ticket holder for nearly 40 years and wouldn't want 5000 empy seats at matches
I'll just address this bit then (I still think the rest is nonsense)
They have raised season ticket in East stand from approx 500 to 1100-1700, 3 years ago you could get a junior season ticket in East stand for
£95. Arsenal have a massive following in Rich London, we are trying to attract new fans whilst raising season ticket prices to match Arsenals.
They have not raised tickets in the East stand from £500 to £1,750,. That is just pure bollocks, they're introduced a whole new (very small) price tier where the folk who can afford it get all the bells & whistles. Good luck to them. The fact that you're trying to compare a junior ST from 3 years ago to the new price tier is pathetic (I'm sorry, but there's no other way to describe that).

Arsenals cheapest ST is just over a grand (note, the cheapest) with the dearest over 2 grand. There appears to be (going of the 3D seat viewer) just 380 seats maximum priced at the £1,750 level with maybe 1,300 of the premium seats available (£1,150 to £1,750) out of 55,000. That's just 2.4% of the total not the 100% at the Emirates. To compare the two is just folly.

I said raised to 1100-1700 not to 1700 so thats a lot more than 380 - Yes we have cheaper tickets but i abet if you look at the main areas of City's support that about 70& of Arsenals catchment area is more affluent and a lot more people in it as well.

Tell me how we have progressed over the last three years - other than the training facilities which means nothing until we start to play youngsters.

Oh sorry we now have clubs in NY and Australia and a womans team

I believe Chelsea and Arsenal have a better base to improve there team than we do, Rags not far behind - that was far from the case 3 years ago.
You're correct, you seem to claim that the whole East stand (17,000 to 18,000 seats ?) had gone up from £500 to £1,100 / £1,700. And if you'd read my post you'd have seen that there's only around 650 of those seats in that premium price range. But hey ho, you've obviously made your mind up and decided to ignore any actual facts.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Anyone know approximately how many of our seats are now premium/1000 pound plus or corporate?

The premium ones work out to around 1,300 I believe, corporates I've no idea.

In case it is of any help, I have done this:

Yes it can still be argued that is a lot of fans needing to find seats, but there are plenty of empty seats that I see dotted around the East stand from my seat up in CB3 Colin Bell. Perhaps those fans who have to move could enquire how often the season tickets for those empty seats are used. And yes it does mean you level 2's have to downgrade to level 3, but we can't have everything in life, that's why I'm in the gods of level 3.

And Oakiecokie has just reminded me, when I was last in Eastland (Newcastle, League Cup) the bogs behind 308 still had paper towel dispensers. Whilst my lot in 330 Colin Bell have had two modern handryers (the air blasting ones) for most of the season. So you might want to join us eye-strainers in Colin Bell level 3 for the extra perk!
