You're correct, you seem to claim that the whole East stand (17,000 to 18,000 seats ?) had gone up from £500 to £1,100 / £1,700. And if you'd read my post you'd have seen that there's only around 650 of those seats in that premium price range. But hey ho, you've obviously made your mind up and decided to ignore any actual facts.
Look - I know its only level 1 and i know what block because i sit in them. The fact is 3 year ago I could get my season ticket and my Sonsfor around £700 it would now be 1700 and I'm at the edge. I site on the front row of the first tier so have a decent seat and a good view although better for one end of the ground. I know i can get a cheaper seat if i move but i do not want to eatch the match from up in the gods its rubbish (IMO). Therefore there are limited amount of seats i can move to . I think i'm not alone and expect decent seats may be hard to find especially as there are 6 of us wanting seaqts together.
When the prices started going up we were buying good quality players but in the last 2-3 years the quality as gone backwards especially this season yet prices keep going up.
I know we are not quite at Arsenals prices
but the people like myself who want to sit in a good seat with a proper view are being priced out. If i stop going then i expct some of my mates and my son etc. will stop. For City to be filling the ground with all these corporate type seats they need to be right at the top of their game and that hasn;t ben happening.
Look how many empty seats there are atthe next home game and thats people who can't be bothered going when they have already paid.
I hope i am wrong and if the board get the signing right this summer then i may be but if they dont i think the problems will start.
For the records, I expect we'll probably find seats and still expect to renew like the last 37 years, just not sure everyone else will do the same. I hope the people on the waiting list are still keen after the poor ending to this season.
