Anyone know approximately how many of our seats are now premium/1000 pound plus or corporate?
The premium ones work out to around 1,300 I believe, corporates I've no idea.
I thiught there were about 2,000 corporate seats before this.

I said raised to 1100-1700 not to 1700 so thats a lot more than 380 - Yes we have cheaper tickets but i abet if you look at the main areas of City's support that about 70& of Arsenals catchment area is more affluent and a lot more people in it as well.

Tell me how we have progressed over the last three years - other than the training facilities which means nothing until we start to play youngsters.

Oh sorry we now have clubs in NY and Australia and a womans team

I believe Chelsea and Arsenal have a better base to improve there team than we do, Rags not far behind - that was far from the case 3 years ago.
You're correct, you seem to claim that the whole East stand (17,000 to 18,000 seats ?) had gone up from £500 to £1,100 / £1,700. And if you'd read my post you'd have seen that there's only around 650 of those seats in that premium price range. But hey ho, you've obviously made your mind up and decided to ignore any actual facts.

Look - I know its only level 1 and i know what block because i sit in them. The fact is 3 year ago I could get my season ticket and my Sonsfor around £700 it would now be 1700 and I'm at the edge. I site on the front row of the first tier so have a decent seat and a good view although better for one end of the ground. I know i can get a cheaper seat if i move but i do not want to eatch the match from up in the gods its rubbish (IMO). Therefore there are limited amount of seats i can move to . I think i'm not alone and expect decent seats may be hard to find especially as there are 6 of us wanting seaqts together.

When the prices started going up we were buying good quality players but in the last 2-3 years the quality as gone backwards especially this season yet prices keep going up.

I know we are not quite at Arsenals prices but the people like myself who want to sit in a good seat with a proper view are being priced out. If i stop going then i expct some of my mates and my son etc. will stop. For City to be filling the ground with all these corporate type seats they need to be right at the top of their game and that hasn;t ben happening.

Look how many empty seats there are atthe next home game and thats people who can't be bothered going when they have already paid.

I hope i am wrong and if the board get the signing right this summer then i may be but if they dont i think the problems will start.

For the records, I expect we'll probably find seats and still expect to renew like the last 37 years, just not sure everyone else will do the same. I hope the people on the waiting list are still keen after the poor ending to this season.

Get a grip - I thought we won 2 out of the 3 domestic trophies just last May or does that mean we are going backwards. ColinLee is right in his summary of the ticket situation.

LOL! Get the violins out!

I want to sit in a good seat with a proper view but I (and many fucking others) have been priced out of that option for many years. And you know what, there are and have been many other fuckers who are priced out of buying a season ticket alltogether. So what did our owner/club do? Expanded a stand with another on the opposite side to follow.

Now stop talking shit, because if you end up next to me in the Gods, I don't want to fucking hear it.

Great post.

Im lucky enough to have a brilliant seat which I can afford- probably one of the best in the house - front row second tier of East Stand and it's gone up to £900. It would cost much more at any other club. However, it i couldn't afford it any more - I can move and if I move, guess what - I can still watch the match. I;ve sat in most of the stands for one reason or another and all seats have a great view. Some fans are twisting the facts.

I'm sure there are many clubs where you could pay less than 900 for a decent seat/view.

Ok - I get your point , you're all happy as larry and don't have any problems with anything at the club, whereas I have an issue.

I' guess you never ever post any negative stuff because you are all happy clappers.

I suggest you find a new web site as you must be absolutely p*ssed off with this one as about 75% of it is negative.

This is from the guy who on P71 doesn't even think we'll finish in the top 4, you want to try and be a bit more positive or you can be negative when you want to be as it's a forum. Thats what i do - positive when i like what is happening and negative when i don't which is a lot at the moment unfortunately

I fail to see what my (and others alike) worries about finishing in the top four, have anything to do with prices increases.I to have been hit,but don`t constantly fucking moan about it.
You brought the subject up of how many people were unhappy,75%,on this thread,so I`m only telling it as it is.Its the same people on about the same subject and its been proven on this thread how many ST Holders it will hit in CBL2.
Not only are you in the queue but it looks as though you`ve jumped to the head of it.

First off, I'm sorry it's got a little tense on here, that wasn't my intention. I just believe you (and others) are looking at things from a different perspective that is wrong in my opinion.

I've said it before (and surprisingly not got called on it) but I don't believe City have raised prices that much. They have introduced the Premium seats/experience (whatever that turns out to be) which means some will be displaced but with the new stand there are similar or even cheaper options depending on your tastes/requirements. Some will no doubt be happy to stay and try out the new section and consider their options next year. The rise in the corporate seats was always on the cards since the stadium wasn't built with them in mind for the Commonwealth games and it's far too important nowadays for good or ill (you can blame football as a whole for that).

Yes, you've been affected but someone always was going to be, it just happens to be you. You really do have options if you look around.

In the interests of full disclosure, absolutely none of the price rises (or in some cases, lower prices) affects me since I don't have an ST. It would cost me £100 in petrol money alone plus I work nights over all of the weekend anyway so 10 hour round trips aren't happening.
