I'll just address this bit then (I still think the rest is nonsense)

They have not raised tickets in the East stand from £500 to £1,750,. That is just pure bollocks, they're introduced a whole new (very small) price tier where the folk who can afford it get all the bells & whistles. Good luck to them. The fact that you're trying to compare a junior ST from 3 years ago to the new price tier is pathetic (I'm sorry, but there's no other way to describe that).

Arsenals cheapest ST is just over a grand (note, the cheapest) with the dearest over 2 grand. There appears to be (going of the 3D seat viewer) just 380 seats maximum priced at the £1,750 level with maybe 1,300 of the premium seats available (£1,150 to £1,750) out of 55,000. That's just 2.4% of the total not the 100% at the Emirates. To compare the two is just folly.

I said raised to 1100-1700 not to 1700 so thats a lot more than 380 - Yes we have cheaper tickets but i abet if you look at the main areas of City's support that about 70& of Arsenals catchment area is more affluent and a lot more people in it as well.

Tell me how we have progressed over the last three years - other than the training facilities which means nothing until we start to play youngsters.

Oh sorry we now have clubs in NY and Australia and a womans team

I believe Chelsea and Arsenal have a better base to improve there team than we do, Rags not far behind - that was far from the case 3 years ago.
You're correct, you seem to claim that the whole East stand (17,000 to 18,000 seats ?) had gone up from £500 to £1,100 / £1,700. And if you'd read my post you'd have seen that there's only around 650 of those seats in that premium price range. But hey ho, you've obviously made your mind up and decided to ignore any actual facts.

Look - I know its only level 1 and i know what block because i sit in them. The fact is 3 year ago I could get my season ticket and my Sonsfor around £700 it would now be 1700 and I'm at the edge. I site on the front row of the first tier so have a decent seat and a good view although better for one end of the ground. I know i can get a cheaper seat if i move but i do not want to eatch the match from up in the gods its rubbish (IMO). Therefore there are limited amount of seats i can move to . I think i'm not alone and expect decent seats may be hard to find especially as there are 6 of us wanting seaqts together.

When the prices started going up we were buying good quality players but in the last 2-3 years the quality as gone backwards especially this season yet prices keep going up.

I know we are not quite at Arsenals prices but the people like myself who want to sit in a good seat with a proper view are being priced out. If i stop going then i expct some of my mates and my son etc. will stop. For City to be filling the ground with all these corporate type seats they need to be right at the top of their game and that hasn;t ben happening.

Look how many empty seats there are atthe next home game and thats people who can't be bothered going when they have already paid.

I hope i am wrong and if the board get the signing right this summer then i may be but if they dont i think the problems will start.

For the records, I expect we'll probably find seats and still expect to renew like the last 37 years, just not sure everyone else will do the same. I hope the people on the waiting list are still keen after the poor ending to this season.

What is this panic about top 4 finish.

7 points ahead of the Dippers with 7 games left, do people seriously think we will lose 3 more than they will?

I cannot see it.

at last. someone with sense.

Based on the current trend it will be touch and go

It's also important to finish at least 3rd.

LOL! Get the violins out!

I want to sit in a good seat with a proper view but I (and many fucking others) have been priced out of that option for many years. And you know what, there are and have been many other fuckers who are priced out of buying a season ticket alltogether. So what did our owner/club do? Expanded a stand with another on the opposite side to follow.

Now stop talking shit, because if you end up next to me in the Gods, I don't want to fucking hear it.

Yes it can still be argued that is a lot of fans needing to find seats, but there are plenty of empty seats that I see dotted around the East stand from my seat up in CB3 Colin Bell. Perhaps those fans who have to move could enquire how often the season tickets for those empty seats are used. And yes it does mean you level 2's have to downgrade to level 3, but we can't have everything in life, that's why I'm in the gods of level 3.

Hahahahahhaaaaaaaa.I felt a bit of piss coming down my leg you twat. ;)

;)

And Oakiecokie has just reminded me, when I was last in Eastland (Newcastle, League Cup) the bogs behind 308 still had paper towel dispensers. Whilst my lot in 330 Colin Bell have had two modern handryers (the air blasting ones) for most of the season. So you might want to join us eye-strainers in Colin Bell level 3 for the extra perk!

I`ve been in CB3 for years mate.323/24.Thats why I daren`t forget my glasses otherwise I`d be asking my lad all through the game "what the fuck happened".

I'm not going to get involved with the "rich so can afford it debate", as it happens I can afford the price hike I will see in block 221 and to be fair to the club they did tell us a good few seasons ago what was going to happen the big issue I have is the seat pricing for disabled, over 65's and kids under 16. My 8 year olds tickets has gone up to £575 for what, a free program, so what!! And as for charging the over 65's who have no income the prices I think the club has sold out and will struggle to fill the seats. Will I move, yes if I can, not because I can't afford it but it ceases to be what I enjoyed about going to the football with my lad and I have no desire to sit amongst a load of part time plastic fans with a camera round there neck!

I had been thinking about trying the premium seats for next season but this is what puts me off more than the price. There will be zero atmosphere there (not that the rest of the stadium is up to much) and probably very few genuine City fans.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Is this what the thread has come down to? Slagging off people who chose a good seat, have paid good money for it for many years, and now have to hope next Tuesday to get four together without going in tier 3 which (for age/medical/other reasons) is not a realistic option (and the price difference for premium is even greater if you're over 65). I reckon there are 2500 new premium seats (1250 each stand) and as I understand it fans who want to move to premium seats can't be offered seats until we relinquish them. I don't know if they know they have that many from other stands wanting the "premium experience" - they certainly haven't asked how many will be moving to let them have the seats. The 3 blokes next to us are looking to do the same.
