I really really dont think we have the fanbase (or at least an affluent fanbase) to be filling these large corporate areas. Look at every game thats a sell out, still plenty of seats in the corporate parts.

I hope I'm wrong because no doubt some smart with a marketing degree on a 6figure salary has looked into it, I just doubt it.

I think there are about 600 seats in the new corporate area, I'm fairly sure that there are a lot more than 600 affluent City fans.

I`m certain that HH will buy a few for his family and friends,if they don`t all sell.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

What is this panic about top 4 finish.

7 points ahead of the Dippers with 7 games left, do people seriously think we will lose 3 more than they will?

I cannot see it.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

I am still a little drunk from yesterday. In a few hours I might change my mind when fully sober

If we miss out on 4th spot which is a definate possibility then making top quality signings will be a lt harder.

Makes the timing of the price hikes a nightmare. I wouldn't want to pay top wack to watch some of the sh*te we have seen this season

When the owners came in they said we would be challenging the top clubs around the world. We are not even competing in our own league in the transfer market and on the pitch this season.

They have raised season ticket in East stand from approx 500 to 1100-1700, 3 years ago you could get a junior season ticket in East stand for £95. Arsenal have a massive following in Rich London, we are trying to attract new fans whilst raising season ticket prices to match Arsenals.

If we are not right at the top of the English game the i feel City will struggle to fill the stadium with the xtra seats. I know there are cheap tickets but not everyone wants to sit up on level 3 miles away from the pitch. I can't understand why anyone who wants to see a football match would sit virtually below pitch level.
1. Don't post when you're pissed.
2. If not pissed perhaps you should just not post especially after a loss.

There is so much wrong with your post (pretty much the entirety of it) that I couldn't be arsed correcting it.

No I wasn't pissed and i stand by what i said. The season ticket hike is bad but was sort of expected but they have brought in price rises of around 10-15% in the East stand for the last 3 years.

We have gone from being the dominant force over the last 3 years to also rans out of both cups by lower league opposition, attrocious performance at home to barca and absolute mediocrity most of the time in the league. We have gone backward each year which is now showing as the clubs along side us are starting to spend much more wiser.

I guess the comparison with Arsenal is a little off but we are a north west club were money is a factor to a lot of people. Yes I know you can get cheap tickets but if you ant to watch from the gods then it's up to you. I guess we'll see in the next few years if the owners have got it right.

I do hope they have as I've been a season ticket holder for nearly 40 years and wouldn't want 5000 empy seats at matches
I'll just address this bit then (I still think the rest is nonsense)

They have not raised tickets in the East stand from £500 to £1,750,. That is just pure bollocks, they're introduced a whole new (very small) price tier where the folk who can afford it get all the bells & whistles. Good luck to them. The fact that you're trying to compare a junior ST from 3 years ago to the new price tier is pathetic (I'm sorry, but there's no other way to describe that).

Arsenals cheapest ST is just over a grand (note, the cheapest) with the dearest over 2 grand. There appears to be (going of the 3D seat viewer) just 380 seats maximum priced at the £1,750 level with maybe 1,300 of the premium seats available (£1,150 to £1,750) out of 55,000. That's just 2.4% of the total not the 100% at the Emirates. To compare the two is just folly.

Correct me if i'm wrong but surely the full length of level 2 on the east and west stands are more than 600??

Not wrong but the whole length of CB and East stand aren't at the new prices only 4 blocks on each side.

Certainly the ones towards the Family Stand are only £900.

I said raised to 1100-1700 not to 1700 so thats a lot more than 380 - Yes we have cheaper tickets but i abet if you look at the main areas of City's support that about 70& of Arsenals catchment area is more affluent and a lot more people in it as well.

Tell me how we have progressed over the last three years - other than the training facilities which means nothing until we start to play youngsters.

Oh sorry we now have clubs in NY and Australia and a womans team

I believe Chelsea and Arsenal have a better base to improve there team than we do, Rags not far behind - that was far from the case 3 years ago.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

We t to ask about my seat in South stand today where a step has suddenl appeared they said the seat is staying with the step in place and they really didn't give a toss, told me to write to the club if I had a complaint, I never got an answer from them about the run in with the stewards last season so I won't hold my breath. Seriously thinking of moving now.

I'm talking the new premium £1600 - £1700

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Right I`ve read all 71 pages and as I`m one of the effected I`m well pissed off. Season card going from 760 to 1300 in one go is a piss take.

Yes I`ve known about it for 3 seasons but it still hurts.[ the choices of moving 3 years ago were limited ]

Many of the "I`m alright jacks" on here state mines only going up £50 so cant complain ! Thats well above inflation year on year and on the back of the biggest TV deal ever.

People say City will have staff who have done their homework to check demand. Then why are the 2 boxes behind block 210 only occupied for so called big games? And please dont say these boxes are already paid for by a company because it`s City who TRY and sell them on a match-day basis . And then end up filling them with sport clubs and school kids for many un popular games.

These staff in suits are probably the very same who overseen the family stand fiasco, or the City Circle embarrassment or the ticket office staff recruitment or even the recent transfer signings.

Who ever is lucky enough to pay £1300 for my seat next season will get a better view of the corner flag than the half way line. But don`t worry you can read your "FREE" program. Or drink your "FREE" beer. And you will have chance to sober up while you wait to exit your "FREE" car park space.

It used to be City Till I Die, but more and more are either City Till I`m Priced Out, or City While My Boss Can Pay For These Seats.

P.S. Sorry I`ve just read the thread regarding the official City coaches getting the fans to Sellhurst Park 30 mins after kick off. Y.C.M.I.U.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

I'm out, sadly, the club has priced itself out of the market. What used to be a sport for working people is no longer. Can understand it.. market forces, supply and demand etc.... but you wait, probably within the next decade there will be a significant implosion and the game will be returned from whence it came.

In the meantime it's MOTD and internet viewing for me.... Sky Sports can do one too!

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Are the priced out not trying to relocate before giving up? There are about 2,200 new £299 STs and about 1,200 new £380 STs. Chances are high you won't get one in the mad rush of the many priced out (of level 2) or new arrivals to grab one, but surely worth a shot before packing it in completely.

No. They are chucking their toys out of the pram without actually thinking about it too much

As the priced out have first and third pick before any new arrivals i'd say they have every chance of a ticket in whatever price range they like, especially taking into account the seats in groups made available from those that are relocating to the new singing blocks and the seats made available from those that went to viagogo to sell.

I think we'd be foolish not to. 1700 is taking the piss, but yes there are other, affordable options - if one of these is available I will snap it up.

Nice rant.

I've got some good news for you:

i) the only £1300 seat next season in East Stand L2 is one half of 207. The good news is that you could have been in the other half where the price is £1600 next season
ii) if you are in 207 you would have paid £835 this year and not £760. So the 2nd bit of good news is that the increase is not as much as you thought :)
iii) if you are actually in 210 (you might be because of the reference to the boxes behind) you would have paid £780 this year. The 3rd bit of good news is 210 is increasing to £1150 which is "only" £370 more than this year :)
