Season Expectations 2020/21

I want Pep just to concentrate on the title this season and play mainly youth players in the cups because there is going to be a shit load of games in a short time span he has to change his mentality of playing his best teams in the cups.

I've often wondered about our near dominance of the League Cup. It's not that great a trophy, IMHO.

Premier League - 1st or a good 2nd
Fa Cup - Semis at least
Champs League - Got to be in the semis

Another 100+ goals in the league would also be nice

We can't answer this as we don't know what our central defence is likely to be

Sign Koulibaly and I'll be confident. Don't sign him, and we will have to take a gamble on Laporte, Garcia and the Pencil. And that assumes Garcia will still be at City

The season to start without a proper preseason preparation, tremble felt throughout the team becoming an earthquake around Christmas time, Pep leaving by mutual consent because exertions are taking its toll, Conte brought in to steady the ship with potential longer contract, the whole approach changed from holistic to simplistic and Bluemoon to go ballistic.

Winning the league is the requirement for me. I don’t expect a champions league win but to perform better in it for sure. I’ve seen people say drop the cups but I’ve spent years criticising Klopp for that so don’t want to be a hypocrite. It wouldn’t be an issue not winning them though.

This season will be a good one for us, a heavy points haul and goals by the bagful. Our only threat will not be LiVARpool but the penalty kings.

I can't see the Penchester challenging for the title without a serious upgrade. They finished the season strongly and yet still only finished on 66 points. That's not normally good enough for top 4. They got in because other sides were so poor. VARpool will slip back but it's hard to see Utd overhauling two clubs.

Arsenal are a team I think might improve. Chelsea spending but yet to strengthen their central defence

Nothing to suggest Arsenal will be more of a threat than united. Liverpool will be the only really challengers really, well we are the challengers and up to us to overcome them. The gap between us two and the rest of the league may reduce though.
