Season Expectations 2020/21

Nothing to suggest Arsenal will be more of a threat than united. Liverpool will be the only really challengers really, well we are the challengers and up to us to overcome them. The gap between us two and the rest of the league may reduce though.

To clarify I meant Arsenal might improve. I don't expect them to challenge for the title.

Sorry, misread. I’m sure there will be some improvement. Not buying after the FA Cup that there’s been a serious corner turned. They had been extremely hit and miss after lockdown. Hopefully it’s a big enough improvement to challenge United

As it stands, another tricky season.

If as I hope we make another 3/4 class signings, it could be a wonderful swansong for Pep.

I'd be over the moon with winning the Premier League and getting to the Champions League semi-final.

I think we dropped a major bollock not signing a CB last season (we were linked with Ake 12 months ago but thought we could save some money by throwing Fernandinho in there) and now this season we need another CB, as well as Ake, and a LB. We, arguably, missed Sane last season, too, and we're now without one of the best players to ever pull on a City shirt, in SIlva. So, I think a lot depends on who we sign and whether or not they hit the ground running.

Depends on whether we address our defensive and offensive frailties. Tough season ahead but expectations are around:
FA cup or League cup victory
PL 2nd place for now
CL probably QF again

Learn to win at away / neutral grounds. This is where all our losses came after the restart.

As for league cup we should do an Arsenal and play at least 4 Academy players... if we’re anything like Arsenal we’re they always ended up doing well.

FA Cup take it as serious as the season dictates ref position in league CL injuries etc.

I’d think a EPL and CL would be brilliant.

depends who we buy how they settle injuries etc but be great to put distance between us and second then really focus on CL

having once again been exasperated by the “old” lessons learnt shit again this season .... if we learnt the lessons then everything is possible

I'd realistically take top 4, a domestic trophy, and getting beat in the QF of the CL as per.
