He doesn't he extended to next summer, if he hadn't extended then he would be leaving for free , he didn't extend last summer either think it was January.I've no idea why they gave him a year extension last summer as he got nowhere near the 1st team match day squad this season and they won't receive a small fee for him as his contract will be up at end of June and he leaves for free!
The majority of the costs are determined before the season starts, including wages. Maybe there are a small amount of savings that can be made but we also have win bonuses ?so need to build in Come contingency).
A big part of our owner’s involvement is to promote Abu Dhabi and the level of small profits won’t be very important to the Sheikh. IMHO we should pay our way and not make losses. It’s a shame that this includes an increase in season card prices that I hoped would be frozen.
I’ve seen a few references in other posts to people cancelling Cup Scheme membership but these are free anyway and the end result might be more fans paying for cup match tickets.
The cup schemes are free but they automatically charge you for a ticket. It's a decent gamble for the domestic cups, as we could be drawn away every round so incur no extra expense, until a league cup semi final. If you are trying to save money though and cancel the champions league one you save on the four home group games at least.
I had exactly the same issue (see my post earlier in this thread). I noticed there was one item in my basket in the top right of the screen. I clicked on that and was then able to complete.

Which was 51 domestic games the fans paid a lot of money to see, and the club earned a lot of money from through gate and prize money - certainly not a reason to charge the fans even more after they paid £115 for the cup final.
