Just a question. If you sign up for the UEFA scheme among the add-ons, does it put you it a good position to get a seat at the final, in the event we get there (I've got a strong inkling that's going to happen next year)?

True, but regular seats in SS L3 are at £325/£415/£655 so the whole of that stand plus all of the North Stand is less than any at Anfield.That's a bit misleading though because of the few, tokenistic £300 season tickets available.

Bloody stupid of the club, yes, but I've just called up and sorted exactly that (paying on DD for next season changed from previously paying in a lump sum) and it went through on the phone no problem.
Did you get charged the "£2.50 booking fee" for this?

Why do the people who already pay the most get the biggest increase?
Many people don’t pay more because they have more disposable income, they pay more because they’re sat with groups of mates and have done for decades and don’t want to go off on their own just because it’s cheaper.
It seems like those who were paying £320 are now paying £325 and those paying £795 are now paying £720.
Why don’t they just put everyone’s up the same amount?

Nowhere near most, I think it’s something like the back 15 rows.Most of SS level 3.

Works out for me £1:05 more per game but on 10 month DD plan £2 increase on payments.

I'd obviously rather not have an increase but the way I justify the expense of 2 season cards in SS2, other than just enjoying having one is by asking myself how I'd spend the money otherwise.
A nicer car? Maybe a caravan or glamorous holidays? Or more regular nights out for meals & drinks?
The point is that it'll get spent either way and we'd rather have the enjoyment of city for 9 months of the year than any of the above.
We could save the cash for retirement maybe but then we might not even make retirement anyway.
