Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Instead of bringing back normal season tickets, which the protest is about, the directors have found another way to take season tickets off the fans, and turn them into match day tickets.
Yes the match day tickets are for Old Trafford lol

I’ve heard Danny Wilson explain the process Ciry go through and it’s very supportive. They don’t take anyone’s season card without giving the Blues a proper chance to explain their difficulties. In fact they hardly ever take anyone’s season card for non attendance.

In that case, why make it 10 games? Why? To put pressure on the fans to turn up to games regardless of their private circumstances. Then having to contact the club to plead about keeping their season tickets. It’s fucking shameful, Tim. Stop defending the indefensible.

I don’t care that much if this is implemented or not. It’s the wrong timing anyway.

I just don’t see the point in playing on people’s fears when the risk of losing one’s season card is negligible. We have 8,000 more seats to fill

Why should anyone have to go through a process.

What the fuck is going on when this I'd acceptable to treat supporters like this? And people defend it.

Is that what you pay Moomba. You should have stuck up for the face value pages when their operations could still help thousands of fans for every home game.
What should have I stuck up for? I've always supported face value only tickets.

Is correct.

That aside, anyone can lie to the club about their personal circumstances.Or are the club going to ask for a doctors report, or some proof that a person is ill, working on the day of the match, etc? Where and when does this stop?

It's dangerous this. You've no way of knowing this and as the policy is new, you certainly don't know that they'll treat it the same as the 14 game policy. Don't speak like an authority on it

Also, you've been telling us all year how duplicitous Danny Wilson is, now you believe his every word??

City will be advertising for a new position soon.

Attendance Manager.

To dove tail with the ticket compliance manager.
They'll have to cut numbers at the ticket office to pay for it, but we'll get those nasty non attenders.

City don't have the fanbase to even think about eroding our own fanbase and replace them with matchday fans. It's a bit fanciful to think this is their aim. I think City fan organisations should discuss some exceptions and the management of it. In principle a season ticket is for a season.

My thought on the season ticket announcement was that they said nothing about how many season tickets they would issue in the North stand. They just said that it was subject to discussion. Liverpool issued just 1,000 season tickets. We need to know how many new seasoncards the club is going to issue next season.

I’m probably being naive here but I’m interested what the legal side of all this might be? If I buy a ticket for the theatre, then for whatever reason I don’t attend, work, illness, can’t be bothered, then I miss the show. Similarly if I buy a ticket for a train to London, including booking a seat, and I miss the train, then I simply miss the train. The same with a flight somewhere. So if I decide not to attend a football match, or numerous matches, for whatever reason, on the tickets I’ve purchased, can I be penalised, and what business is it of the club? Is it not my ticket to do what I want with? I’m buying a ticket, surely it’s my choice if I decide not to use it? Apologies if I’m being dumb here.

Think about?

The directors have already done it, and are continuing to do it.

Why are there 1000’s of empty seats still on sale for the Villa game?

Our 3rd last home game of the season, and a 6 pointer CL decider game?

Eroded is exactly the right word.

Well done Marvin, you get it, at last!

I assume the club right it into the T&C of the season ticket and therefore cover themselves legally.

What am I missing here? If you can't make 10 games, you don't need a season ticket. Get a flexi gold and have first dibs on the games you can make/want to attend.

Leave the season tickets to those who will go to more than 10 games.

OK Moomba. You know a few swear words.

My view is that no shows worsen the atmosphere and season card hoarding restricts the chances of families who want to attend, getting regular tickets together. The scale of ticket listings encourages the level of tourists some posters vehemently dislike.

You disagree. No worries. Everyone has their view.

I don’t agree with the timing of the new rule. We need to be filling a 60k plus ground.
